In Dan.12.11; Is it a sacrifice that’s taken away and an abomination set up for 1290 days? The Hebrew doesn’t actually mention a “sacrifice.”

# Daniel 8:11–13, 9:27, 11:31–36, 12:11 — My Translations & Integrated Grammatical-Theological Exposition

---
The Hebrew text in Daniel 8, 11, and 12 does not mention “sacrifice” or “ending.” The term הַתָּמִיד (tamid, “continual”) refers to ongoing activity, oppression, or exaltation, not a ritual sacrifice. Any insertion of “sacrifice” in translations is not present in the original Hebrew.

## Summary:
The term הַתָּמִיד (“the continual”) in Daniel 8, 11, and 12 is **not a reference to a daily sacrifice**. Instead, it denotes an **ongoing state of activity, oppression, or exaltation**. The passages collectively describe:

- The **exaltation of the little horn**, continually lifted up by agents of wickedness.
- The **persecution of the faithful (“stars”)** and the **host of Israel** being **given over** to the enemies as a divine allowance of ongoing evil.
- The **removal / casting away** of the faithful from their sacred spaces or sanctuary.
- The **corporate preservation of God’s holy ones**, culminating in purification and presentation before God.

The Hebrew syntax, word order, and lexical usage fully support this interpretation, providing a coherent theological and grammatical understanding without importing ritualistic assumptions.

---

## Contextual Illustration — Daniel 11:34–35 (KJV)

> 34 And unto the time appointed the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
> 35 And he shall give them into trouble, that they may be tried, and sanctified, and purified, and made white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

This passage provides **context for the continual activity** in Daniel 8, 11, and 12. The “king” who exalts himself **reflects the ongoing lifting up of the little horn**, while the faithful are **continually given over and taken away**, linking to the “stars” being persecuted or trampled. The **continual** here refers to **persistent activity, trial, and exaltation**, not daily sacrifice. The faithful are **handed over into the hands of their enemies**, demonstrating God’s allowance of ongoing wickedness while **ultimately preserving the holy ones**.

Daniel 7:25 and Daniel 12:11 use the same “giving over” verb, proving the tamid is not a sacrifice but the faithful being handed into oppression.

Daniel 7:25 (Aramaic) says of the holy ones:
“and they shall be given into his hand”
וְיִתְיַהֲבוּן בִּידֵהּ (we-yithyahavûn bîdēh)
Root: יהב (yehav) — to give, hand over, deliver into power

This is a passive verb: the holy ones are handed over to the little horn for a measured period of time (time, times, and half a time).

Daniel 12:11 (Hebrew) uses the same grammatical idea:
נִנָּתֵן (ninnāṯēn) — “is given over”
Root: נתן (natan) — to give, hand over, deliver

The verse does not say a sacrifice is removed. It says:
“from the time the tamid is given over to the abomination that causes desolation…”

In Daniel 12:11 specifically:
- **“They shall be taken away”** refers to the wicked departing.
- **“Continually being given over”** refers to the faithful who do not side with the beast, continually handed over to persecution and oppression because of the wicked’s actions and God’s allowance.
- The **wicked are the subject of departure**, the **faithful are the object of giving over**, highlighting persecution and divine testing rather than ritual sacrifice.

---

## Expanded Explanatory Integration — Day and Night, Sacrificial Offering, and Judgment

The continual giving over has a **sacrificial and juridical aspect**. Revelation 6:11 portrays the faithful **offered up under the altar**, crying, “How long, O Lord, until You judge and avenge our blood?” Similarly, Revelation 13 emphasizes **worship of the beast day and night**, paralleling the **persistent exaltation of evil** allowed by God. This aligns with Daniel’s “continual” (tamid), showing **unceasing oppression** and **spiritual testing**.

The faithful, continually given over (Daniel 11:31) and “taken away” (Daniel 12:11), **experience ongoing trial and persecution**, analogous to a sacrificial offering. This **corporate suffering** mirrors **Christ’s perfected body offered before God** (Colossians 1:24; 1 Corinthians 12), culminating in the **neutralization of the man of sin** (2 Thessalonians 2:8) and the ultimate presentation of the faithful **blameless and sanctified**.

## I. Daniel 8:11–13 — My Translation & Hebrew Alignment

**My Translation (8:11–13):**
> “As high as the chief of the host, he will be made great by the some, being lifted up continually, and the others he shall cast away from the holy space.
> The host were given over to him, because of the continual transgression, that he may cast down truth and prosper.
> How long will be the vision of the continual transgression of the desolation, the giving both of the sanctuary, and the hosts to be trampled on, and he said to me, 2300 evenings, and mornings; then shall be made righteous the holy.”

**Hebrew Word-for-Word Alignment:**

| Hebrew | Function / English Alignment |
|--------|------------------------------|
| וְעַד שַׂר־הַצָּבָא | “As high as the chief of the host” — idiomatic expression of rank |
| הִגְדִּיל | “he will be made great” — Hiphil verb, causative “exalt” |
| וּמִמֶּנּוּ הוּרָם | “by the some, being lifted up” — instrumental; “some” = agents exalting him |
| הַתָּמִיד | “continually” — denotes ongoing exaltation, oppression, or trial |
| וְהֻשְׁלַךְ | “and the others he shall cast away” — faithful removed from sacred space |
| מְכוֹן מִקְדָּשׁוֹ | “from the holy space” — location of persecution/defilement |
| וְצָבָא תִּנָּתֵן | “the host were given over” — passive causative; continual giving over to wickedness |
| עַל הַתָּמִיד | “because of the continual transgression” — links the oppression to ongoing national sin |
| וְיָשַׁגֶּה | “that he may cast down truth and prosper” — describes effect of his power |
| 2300 עֶרֶב וָבֹקֶר | “2300 evenings and mornings” — prophetic time marker |
| וְנִצְדְּקוּ | “then shall be made righteous” — culmination for holy ones |
| הַקֹּדֶשׁ | “the holy” — faithful remnant (stars), not sanctuary |

**Grammatical Proof:**
- **Hiphil verbs** indicate causative action linking subject, instrument, and object.
- **Tamid** modifies ongoing action; not ritualistic.
- Instrumental use (e.g., “by the some, being lifted up”) distinguishes agents from objects.
- Word order preserves **causal and temporal flow**, matching continual exaltation and persecution.

---

## II. Daniel 11:31 — My Translation & Hebrew

**My Translation (11:31):**
> “And forces for him shall serve, and shall profane the sanctuary fortress; then they shall be taken away, being continually given over to the abomination that causes desolation.”

**Hebrew Word-for-Word Alignment:**

| Hebrew | Function / English Alignment |
|--------|------------------------------|
| יַעַבְדוּ לוֹ | “forces for him shall serve” — instrumental causation |
| וְיְחַלְּלוּ מָצוּדָה | “and shall profane the sanctuary fortress” — sacred space / holy place |
| וְיִנָּתְנוּ | “shall be given over” — passive causative; continual oppression of faithful |
| וְהוּשְׁלַכוּ | “taken” — outcome of being given over; removed from sacred space |
| שִׁקּוּץ מְשֹׁמֵם | “to the abomination that causes desolation” — true object of cessation/judgment |

**Explanatory Note:**
- The faithful are **continually given over** to wickedness, then **taken away**—this mirrors the Daniel 8 pattern of trampled stars.
- The sanctuary/fortress is the **sacred space**, emphasizing spiritual and covenantal violation.
- The Hebrew distinguishes between **agents (forces, wicked)**, **instrument (given over)**, and **object (abomination of desolation)**.

---

## III. Daniel 12:11 — My Translation & Hebrew

**My Translation (12:11):**
> “And the wise shall understand from that time that they shall be taken away; continually being given over to the abomination, that causing the desolation, for one thousand two hundred and ninety days.”

**Hebrew Word-for-Word Alignment:**

| Hebrew | Function / English Alignment |
|--------|------------------------------|
| וְנִבְהֲלוּ הַחֲכָמִים | “the wise shall understand” — recognition of prophetic pattern |
| מֵעֵת הוּא | “from that time” — temporal marker |
| וְנִנָּתְנוּ | “shall be given over” — continual passive, oppression/persecution |
| לַשִּׁקּוּץ הַמְשֹׁמֵם | “to the abomination causing desolation” — object of the giving over |
| לְמֵאָה עֶשְׂרִים וְתִשְׁעַת יָמִים | “for 1,290 days” — prophetic duration |

**Explanatory Note:**
- Reflects **continual giving over** like 11:31 and Daniel 8.
- **“They shall be taken away”** — wicked depart.
- **“Continually given over”** — faithful handed over for persecution due to wickedness.
- This clarifies that the **subject (they) is the wicked**, the **object (them) is the faithful**, showing divine testing and persecution.
- The faithful **experience unrelenting trial**, emphasizing divine allowance of evil.
- “Taken away” corresponds to **removal from position, exposure to enemies, or captivity**, consistent with the Hebrew syntax of נִנָּתְנוּ.

---

## IV. Theological Integration — Daniel 9:27 & Sacrificial Offering

**My Translation (9:27):**
> “And He shall cause to prevail the covenant with the many, for week one and a half of the week, and He shall cause to cease—by the sacrificial offering—even upon wings—the abominations of desolation, until the consummation, and that which is determined is poured out in desolation.”

**Key Points:**
1. **Sacrificial Offering Instrumental:** Not the object of cessation; rather, the offering **enables the ending of abominations**.
2. **Continual Giving Over:** Aligns with 11:31 and 12:11; faithful are **continually subjected** while evil is lifted up.
3. **Man of Sin Neutralization:** The offering/presentation **culminates in 2 Thessalonians 2:8**, paralyzing the power of the man of sin.
4. **Wings / Preservation:** Faithful are **caught up, preserved, and offered** (Revelation 6:11; 7:9–15).
5. **Corporate Body of Christ:** Suffering is shared corporately (1 Cor 12; Col 1) and presented holy before God.
6. **927 Reference:** Aligns with Daniel 9:27 timeframe; the offering, covenantal endurance, and cessation of abominations are part of the same prophetic period.

---

## V. Conclusion — Grammar, Theology, and Exposition

- **Grammar & Syntax:** Hiphil verbs, instrumental usage, and word order consistently show **continual giving over**, **taking away**, and **abominations as objects**, not ritual sacrifice.
- **Theology:** God allows continual evil to test and refine the faithful, **offered as a sacrificial presentation**, while evil is exalted and then ultimately neutralized.
- **Expository Flow:** Daniel 8:11–13 → 9:27 → 11:31 → 12:11 → Revelation 6, 7, 13 → 2 Thess 2:8. **All threads converge**: continual exaltation of evil, continual giving over of the faithful, sacrificial offering of the body of Christ, preservation, and final judgment.
- **Practical Implication:** The faithful’s suffering, perseverance, and offering are **integral to the unfolding of God’s redemptive plan**, fully consistent with Hebrew grammar, prophetic word order, and theological coherence.

In general, I agree with your larger themes - faithful not being 'raptured' which is to say that the faithful are individually persecuted/ killed, but corporately saved. Also your points about the giving over and not 'sacrifices' necessarily.

On specific timeframes, I would disagree. I imagine it like a Venn diagram: there are 1290 days of being 'given over', but there are subsets of times here.

Dan 11:31's abomination is at Rev 9:13-21 (= Dan 9:26's people of the prince to come destroys city & sanctuary) done by the Dan 8 Little Horn. (Lasting for 30 days.) (the reference to 'killing 1/3 of humanity' at Rev 9:15 is the largest death toll in Revelation = Matt 24:21's greatest tribulation - but this is also part of the Venn diagram because Jesus could be talking about the entire 1335 days here - this facilitates followers of evil to falsely interpret prophecy).

In Dan 8:11-13
11It magnified itself, even to the Prince of the host; it removed His daily sacrifice and overthrew the place of His sanctuary. 12And in the rebellion,a the host and the daily sacrifice were given over to the horn, and it flung truth to the ground and prospered in whatever it did.
13Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long until the fulfillment of the vision of the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, and the giving over of the sanctuary and of the host to be trampled?”
The Dan 8 Little Horn's forces have placed the abomination - then the 'host' is 'given over to be trampled'. This is the time-frame of the 1260 days of the 2 witnesses which is also the 'time, times, half time of Dan 7:25's holy people being given over for 1260 days. (So we have a total time of 30+1260 =1290 days here.)

The host is 'given over' to the Dan 7 Little Horn, to 'protect them' from the Dan 8 Little Horn that just destroyed the sanctuary.

Dan 7:25's time, times, half time = the first half of Dan 9:27 = 1260 days of 2 witnesses. Why are the 2 witnesses in sackcloth? The sanctuary has just been destroyed :

Joel 1:
8Wail like a virgin dressed in sackcloth, grieving for the husband of her youth. 9Grain and drink offerings have been cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests are in mourning, those who minister before the LORD.

The Dan 7 Little Horn is the Rev 10 'mighty angel' is the confirmer of the Dan 9:27 covenant. (The Rev 10 mighty angel is also the man in linen angel of Dan 10 and Dan 12:7
And the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by Him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, and times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people has finally been shattered, all these things will be completed.”

That is what the rainbow of the 'mighty angel' in Rev 10:1 indicates - the covenant of God after the 'flood' of war. When the 'mighty angel' of Rev10 'swears an oath' by heaven, earth, and sea (Rev 10:5-7), he is 'confirming the covenant'. The Rev 10 mighty angel is Lucifer, the King of Babylon in Isa 14, the 'dragon' ('seraphim angel'), the 7th King of Rev 17:10.

Swearing oaths is basically synonymous with making covenants. This occurs over and over in scripture where someone (or God) swears an oath which then creates a covenant between the parties.

  • Deut 4:13 For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.
  • Deut 4:31 For the LORD your God is a merciful God; He will not abandon you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers, which He swore to them by oath.
  • Genesis 26:28 “We can plainly see that the LORD has been with you,” they replied. “We recommend that there should now be an oath between us and you. Let us make a covenant with you.
  • 2 Kings 11:4 But in the seventh year Jehoiada sent and brought the captains of the Carites and of the guards, and had them come to him in the house of the LORD. And he made a covenant with them and put them under oath in the house of the LORD, and he showed them the king’s son.
  • Psalm 105:8 He remembers His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations— 9 the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac. 10 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: 11 “I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”
  • Psalm 132:11 The LORD swore an oath to David, a promise He will not revoke: “One of your descendants I will place on your throne. 12 If your sons keep My covenant and the testimony I will teach them, then their sons will also sit on your throne forever and ever.”
  • Hosea 10:4 They speak mere words; with false oaths they make covenants. So judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of a field.
  • Luke 1:68 “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and redeemed His people. 69 He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David, 70 as He spoke through His holy prophets, those of ages past, 71 salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, 72 to show mercy to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant, 73 the oath He swore to our father Abraham, to grant us 74 deliverance from hostile hands, that we may serve Him without fear, 75 in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives.
  • Deut 8:18 You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day. 19 And if you forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish. 20 Like the nations that the Lord makes to perish before you, so shall you perish, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.
In addition to the swearing of the oath to God, the ‘mighty angel’ is wrapped in ‘clouds’ and has a ‘rainbow over his head’ (Rev 10:1). This rainbow is yet another symbol indicating a covenant - that God would never destroy the earth with a flood (of water) again – this is the peace covenant after the ‘flood’ of fire of judgment (2 Peter 3:6-7).

This covenant is broken at the 7th Trumpet and results in the 2nd abomination at the end of the 1290 days (which will take us to the 1335th day).

When the covenant is broken, the 'dragon' gives his throne over to the beast from the sea.

Rev 13:1And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority.

Clearly, these beasts are referring to Dan 7's beasts. This Leopard, Bear, and Lion are being given an 'extension'. They are Dan 7's 'rest of the beasts'.

Dan 7:11 Then I kept watching because of the arrogant words the horn was speaking. As I continued to watch, the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was removed, but they were granted an extension of life for a season and a time.

The Daniel 7 4th beast has been 'slain' and the 'rest of the beasts' (the Leopard, Bear, and Lion) are given an extension for a season and a time.
The Daniel 7 4th Beast is the 'dragon' who is the 7th Head: 1 Lion head, 1 bear head, 4 Leopard heads (after being defeated during the time of the East wind which is Rev 9:13-21), and 1 4th Beast head with 10 horns = 7 heads and 10 horns. The 7 heads give us the 7th King of Rev 17:10 which is the dragon with 7 heads, 10 horns, and 7 crowns (Rev 12:3).

| Revelation 13:5–8 | — | “They worship the beast day and night” | — | Continual exaltation of evil; divine allowance for testing faithful; mirrors tamid in Daniel passages |

---

### Key Concepts & Theological Links:

1. **Continual (tamid)** = persistent activity of oppression or exaltation; not ritual.
2. **Given over / Taken away (נִנָּתֵן / הוּשְׁלַכוּ)** = faithful subjected to trial, persecution, and removal from sacred space; wicked depart, faithful handed over.
3. **Sacrificial Offering** = instrumental means by which God neutralizes abominations and executes judgment (Daniel 9:27; 1 Cor 12; Col 1).
4. **Revelation Parallels** = faithful offered under the altar (6:11), preserved (7:9–15), evil exalted day and night (13:5–8).
5. **Man of Sin Neutralization** = achieved through the offering and preservation of the faithful (2 Thess 2:8).
6. **Heavenly / Earthly Flow** = continual oppression (Daniel), corporate offering (Church), eventual presentation of holy ones, final judgment.

---

**Visual Flow:**

1. **Daniel 8 → Exaltation & continual oppression of the faithful**
2. **Daniel 9:27 → Sacrificial offering instrumental in cessation of abominations**
3. **Daniel 11:31 → Faithful continually given over; sanctuary defiled**
4. **Daniel 12:11 → Wicked depart; faithful continually given over; duration marked**
5. **Revelation 6:11 → Faithful offered under altar, calling out for justice**
6. **Revelation 13 → Continual worship of evil, testing space for faithful**
7. **2 Thess 2:8 → Culmination: neutralization of man of sin**
In Daniel 8:11–13, 11:31, and 12:11, the Hebrew text does not contain the word “sacrifice”; the term often translated as “taken away” (Strong’s H3467: וְהוּשְׁלַכוּ) actually refers to the departure of the apostate, not the removal of the faithful, nor the ceasing of a sacrifice. Likewise, the term translated “set up” in some English versions (Strong’s H5414: וְיִנָּתְנוּ) literally means “given over”, describing the faithful being subjected to persecution. These terms collectively emphasize the ongoing giving over and trial of the faithful, in continuity with Daniel’s pattern and in line with the departure described in 2 Thessalonians 2:8.

You can go to the online Tanach (Jewish Bible) at the Jewish Chabad.org site. And look at those passages there. Both in English and Hebrew.

In the online Tanach (Jewish Bible)...

Daniel 8:11-13 has the words "daily sacrifice" in them.
Daniel 11:31 has the words "daily sacrifice" in it.
Daniel 12:11 has the words "daily sacrifice" in it.

tranquil, I don't agree with your chart (as the content does not make sense), but you need to make things line up.

I re-did your chart below - not changing the content - with things lined up. Also in the lower right hand corner, you don't indicate what ends the 1335 days. What ends the 1335 days - annotate on the chart.

Using a (KJV+) bible or app like e-Sword
Dan 12:11And from the timeH4480 H6256 "that"
the dailyH8548 "sacrifice" shall be taken away,

In Daniel 8:12,Daniel 11:31, and Daniel 12:11 the word “sacrifice”
is in "italics", it was added, and no Hebrew number is given for it.
Elsewhere in the bible the word sacrifice does have a Hebrew number.

The Cambridge Bible reads,“the continual shall be taken away.”
Many people think a temple has to be built for "sacrifices" to be
taken away, on a word that is not even in the original Hebrew text.

[..from the time the daily shall be taken away,]

Strong’s Concordance and Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon
define the Hebrew word for daily as perpetual. Webster’s
Dictionary defines perpetual as “continuing forever, everlasting,
valid for all time. Our focus needs to be on the daily, or continual.

We all know Jesus one sacrifice is done,
there is no more physical sacrifices required.

“By the which will we are sanctified through the
offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all”

Today we are the Temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16
" Know ye not that ye are the [temple] of God,
and "that" the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up[a spiritual house],
an holy priesthood,to offer up [spiritual sacrifices],
acceptable to God by Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:5)(Romans 12:1).

Christ is the High Priest of the spiritual temple, the Church.
The sacrificial system was replaced by Christ’s sacrifice
(Hebrews 8:13).(Hebrews 10:11-12). The Levitical priesthood
was removed and re-placed by the Melchisedec priesthood.

Hebrews 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath con-
secrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And
having an highpriest over the house of God”. We have a new way
to live and a High Priest over God’s house.

There will be another temple during the mill, Christ will be
responsible for building the Ezekiel temple (Ezekiel 40:1, 3, 14).
He does the measuring physically and spiritually (verses 19, 23, 28, 32).

Christ is measuring the spiritual temple today Rev 11:1, Rev 3:12.
-

29 He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

“Blessed is that servant, whom his lord
when he cometh shall find [so doing]” .

They that [continue doing] the Work of God.
"If ye continue in my word John 8:31

Let brotherly love continue Hebrews 13:1
Continue in prayer and watch Colossians 4:2
continuing instant in prayer Romans 12:12
And they continued stedfastly Acts 2:42
all continued with one accord Acts 1:14

But continue thou in the things which
thou hast learned 2 Timothy 3:14

The old testament The Daily was the work in the temple.
Today the Daily or the Continual is the Work of Gods church,
that will never be destroyed. The gates of hell shall not prevail
against it" Matthew 16:18.

Faithful Christians are the temples of God now.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 17 If any one destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and that temple you are.

2 Thessalonians 2:4 may have been fulfilled in 70 AD while the temple was being destroyed by the Romans. A special standard called the imago bore a depiction of the emperor and it was carried by the imaginifer, a senior officer. This imago most likely was brought into the temple at that time.

# Daniel 8:11–13, 9:27, 11:31–36, 12:11 — My Translations & Integrated Grammatical-Theological Exposition
The DAILY is a continual sacrifice, and Jesus is that sacrifice today. So, when the 1/3 repent, and flee into the Petra region, God will then give the 2/3 who refused to repent over unto the AC and his minions to be sifted or killed. But before that, between the 1335 and 1290 the 1/3 who repented go into the temple of God and worships Jesus. A fanatical high priest, who will be the false prophet, then issues an edict, "There will be NO Jesus worship in the temple of God" and thus he TAKES AWAY the Sacrifice.

There has to be a temple built so that Revelation 11:1-2 can be fulfilled.
The Gentiles are in the outer court, who is in the inner court,
and why are [they] getting measured?

"the temple of God"
The nation of Isreal is going to build this?

1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19,2 Corinthians 6:16
Ephesians 2:21-22, 1 Peter 2:5, Hebrews 12:23.

The two witnesses are connected to the “little book” of Revelation 10.
In Revelation 12, God protects a woman/aka His church.
Also that 2Thesssalonians2:4 can be fulfilled.
3Let no man deceive.... except there come a falling away first..
A falling away of members/Christians of a church?
I believe the third temple[Ezekiels] will be built in the mill. not any before.

You believe a temple needs to be built before Christ returns.
I will [watch] for the Palestinians to gain control of east Jerusalem.
We will just have to wait and watch and see what comes first.

Palestinians want east Jerusalem, with the Temple Mount, as their capital.
Most of the international community considers the eastern sector of the
city as being under Israeli occupation. The fall of half of Jerusalem triggers
a violent and massive chain reaction that leads to Christ’s Second Coming.

There has to be a temple built so that Revelation 11:1-2 can be fulfilled.

Also that 2Thesssalonians2:4 can be fulfilled.
John was told to measure the temple before 70 AD.

All of the NT scriptures were written before the destruction of the temple in 70 AD, even Hebrews. The first covenant priests were still officiating at their altar in their temple/tent when Hebrews was written.

Hebrews 13:10
We have an altar from which those who officiate in the tent have no right to eat.

Revelation 11 was fulfilled in the first century AD.

Daniel prophesied both the building and the destruction of the second temple.

Daniel 8:19
He said, “Listen, and I will tell you what will take place later in the period of wrath; for it refers to the appointed time of the end.

Daniel 12:4
But you, Daniel, keep the words secret and the book sealed until the time of the end. Many shall be running back and forth, and evil shall increase.”

Daniel 12:9
He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are to remain secret and sealed until the time of the end.

Daniel's prophecy would not be fulfilled until shortly before the destruction of the second temple in 70 AD.

Jesus tells us the desolating sacrilege prophesied in Daniel will be the presence of the pagan Roman armies.

Matthew 24:14-16
And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; (Romans 1:8, Acts 2:5) and then the end will come. 15 “So when you see the desolating sacrilege standing in the holy place, as was spoken of by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand), 16 then those in Judea must flee to the mountains;

Luke 21:20-21
When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near. 21 Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those inside the city must leave it, and those out in the country must not enter it;

Daniel 12:9
He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are to remain secret and sealed until the time of the end.

Mark 1:15
and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe in the good news.”

Revelation 1:1
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place; he made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

The meaning of Daniel's prophecy was to be kept a secret until Jesus told his followers what it meant.

Romans 11 was fulfilled soon after John was told to measure the temple. Revelation was written in the 60s AD. It was written to warn the Christians that soon they would need to leave Jerusalem in order to survive God's wrath upon the unbelieving Jews, their city, and temple. So, when they saw the Roman armies building encampments around Jerusalem, they made preparations to flee the impending destruction.

Revelation 11 was fulfilled in the first century AD.
Who then were the two witnesses of Revelation 11 that were killed and for 3 1/2 days lay dead in the streets of Jerusalem, before being brought back alive and called/ascended up to heaven and their enemies looked on ?

Revelation is prophetic literature. It is not to be accepted as a word-for-word literal writing.

The two witnesses were the Books of the Law and the Prophets, represented by Moses and Elijah.

Matthew 17:2-4
And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became bright as light. 3 Suddenly there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. 4 Then Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you wish, I will set up three tents here, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.

Jesus came to fulfill the prophecies written about him in the Books of the Law and the prophets, and thereby end the first covenant. Romans 10:4

The unbelieving Jews disregarded the prophecies about their Messiah, Jesus Christ, and so they had him murdered.

Ezekiel 37:1-10 symbolizes the future restoration of lost ten tribes of Israel under Jesus' new covenant.
1 The hand of the Lord came upon me, and he brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me all around them; there were very many lying in the valley, and they were very dry. 3 He said to me, “Mortal, can these bones live?” I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” 4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them: O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. 6 I will lay sinews on you and will cause flesh to come upon you and cover you with skin and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

7 So I prophesied as I had been commanded, and as I prophesied, suddenly there was a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 I looked, and there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them, but there was no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” 10 I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, a vast multitude.

Jesus' sacrifice on the cross made it possible for the lost ten tribes of Israel (Gentiles) to join with the believing Jews under his new covenant.

Jeremiah 31:31
The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

Matthew 12:15-21
When Jesus became aware of this, he departed. Many followed him, and he cured all of them, 16 and he ordered them not to make him known. 17 This was to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
18 “Here is my servant, whom I have chosen,
my beloved, with whom my soul is well pleased.
I will put my Spirit upon him,
and he will proclaim justice to the gentiles.

19 He will not wrangle or cry aloud,
nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.
20 He will not break a bruised reed
or quench a smoldering wick
until he brings justice to victory.
21 And in his name the gentiles will hope.”
