Yes I agree prayer is important. I also think taking a big step back and pausing for thought and reflection. Whenever anyone becomes sort upset or enraged that it is controlling them and affecting relations then the problem is in the person. Even if they feel they are justified. The radical arm of the Democratic Party is now in control of their party, the Marxist/radical Islamist temporary coalition seems to be in charge. While a lot of the racist and bigoted teachings at the universities have at least paused, many young people are already radicalized. So many thought the killing of the health care CEO was justified, it shows how quickly the principles and virtues upon which our nation was founded can be abandoned. I cannot predict the future, prayer is our most powerful weapon.
But I do think as you explain this that this is a cultural wide situation. Like the US is fighting for its identity or moral foundation or what sort of nation they want.
Its not just over specific issues that get sorted and people move on. This is over the US itself, its politics and consitution like you say. I think it is the same throughout the world at the moment.
Its certainly a worrying time on top of climate change, wars, resources, economic insecurity. Its not a bright future for anyone. I think we need an alien invasion and that way all earthlings will unite lol.
But then I can see how some will be defending them and this will just make matters worse. Then the whole universe will be in a culture war lol. Maybe the aliens already realise and they are staying away as they know where it ends up lol.
