CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Fake convictions with no penalty based off charges made as a result of illegally changing the laws retroactively hardly counts as much of a conviction. It’s very telling, though, considering they had nothing to charge him with without retroactively changing the laws.
Let me see, who else took money from their foundation for personal use? Yes, that would be the Clintons (collectively). They took the money from their Clinton Foundation that was designated for Haiti for their daughter’s wedding.
And no other President ever had a real job before they went into politics, which is why they ran the country into the ground.

The answer is easy. One has to vote, often, for the lesser of two evils. The country needed a strong personality to fix the evils that are starting to overtake it. There was no one else who could do the job. And while I might not like all of Trumps morals, he is doing what he needs to do to keep the nation from going under.

Trump had to pay the victims of his Trump University $25m as a penalty.
The Trump organization had to pay a fine and the former CFO went to prison.
Trump had to pay a $2 million penalty for fraud regarding the Foundation and the foundation was dissolved. He is not allowed to start anther one in New York.
As to his 34 criminal felonies, he got a pass because he was elected President so Bragg asked for the minimum sentence.

Jimmy Carter was a peanut farmer and a nuclear engineer. Eisenhower was in the military and commander of the Allied forces in Europe. Truman was a farmer and haberdasher. Reagan was an actor before he was Governor of California. Lyndon B. Johnson was a teacher before getting into politics. George H. Bush was in oil. Even Lincoln had been a postmaster general . George Washington was a farmer before being a military general , then president. Even Andrew Johnson had been a tailor.
Trump is the one running the economy into the ground. Unemployment is up, and 2025 had the lowest job growth since 2020, and the lowest job growth in a non-recession year since 2003. Prices are too high and he has not brought them down at all. . Many are losing their health insurance as well.
His 'morality' is to focus on things like a gold ballroom larger than the White House, and starting war in Venezuela to steal their oil, and threatening a NATO ally, Greenland, where we already have a base and could have had more bases there. The heck with the people and their health insurance or proverty issues.

Atlantic City was a failing travel plaza on highway 9 until Trump made it great. Trump is the most famous and recognized television personality the world over due to his successful reality shows. Trump won an Academy Award for his performance in the highly successful Home Alone franchise. Trump was Times Man of the Year over 50 times.

You don't know the extent of how things said in the White House reverberate downward. If Trump were to say, casually, "I don't like red ink, let's not use red ink anymore," there would be people searching every desk in every military unit, in every ship in the Navy, breaking red ink pens in half.

Tell me why the left is soooo consumed that Trump is having a ballroom added to the White House, AT NO COST TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, to be utilized by every administration after his, that will save taxpayers millions of dollars? Why is that? Why does the left hate the American taxpayer so much that they are willing to waste their hard-earned money on something that is being provided for free? Why is the left so dead set against the safety of the tax paying American people that they are willing to kill policemen doing their job who are trying to protect citizens from violent illegal alien criminals?

I obviously did pick a team as I went on to explain. Presidents come and go, it is the team I am voting for. The team that puts the citizens of the USA first, the people who pay the taxes, the people the US Constitution was written for.

The evil on my side is not even close to the evil the other side practices. Trump’s morality is not an evil of my side, it is a personal morality. I don’t call your side evil because Biden has dementia, I call your side evil because TPTB behind him hid it from the public because to get rid of Biden meant Kamala would have to assume power and, at the time, EVERYONE on the left could see who Kamala was and NOBODY wanted her. They were trying to figure out how to get rid of her without sounding the DEI bell. So instead, they formed a shadow government around Biden and used him as their puppet. THAT is what was evil. As well as the policies they implemented through that process.
