LIVE UPDATES: ICE shooting in Minneapolis, police swarm scene

Law enforcement agencies have swarmed the scene of a shooting involving federal law enforcement agencies in south Minneapolis on Wednesday.

Some of the mob jumped on the front of an ICE vehicle. Police were able to control the mob, it appeared to be tear gas that was used.

Minneapolis ICE shooting: Eyewitness accounts contradict ICE statement

Statement from ICE:

"Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.

"An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots.

"He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers.

"The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. Thankfully, the ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries."

Yes, she almost ran over an officer. Fortunately no one else was killed. That mayor should be charged as an accessory.

Have you watched the videos? They do not back up what ICE claims took place.

Here's how Kristi Noem described the incident: "It was an act of domestic terrorism. I.C.E. Officers got stuck in the snow. They were attempting to push out their vehicle, and a woman attacked them, and those surrounding them, and attempted to run them over."

That's not even close to what happened.

I did see some of the mob jump on the front of an ICE vehicle. The mayor's words definitely incited some people.

I have just viewed the clip of the event which took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is a horrible thing to watch. The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense. Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital. The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis. They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE. We need to stand by and protect our Law Enforcement Officers from this Radical Left Movement of Violence and Hate!

First, her car was blocking the road, mostly perpendicular to the roadway. In the video I saw I did not hear what the officer said to her. I did hear her screaming. I heard here yelling "no, no,. .shame" and she peeled out of there. The officer who was in front of the left of her car shot her as the car moved toward him. He fired his weapon as he was trained to do. A tragedy. Certainly the mayor and governor need to pull back their continued violent rhetoric.

All i will add is if you do this as a citizen, you will go to jail. If the video shows no danger, the ICE shooter might too. Im pretty sure you can file wrongful death in civil court as well. Victims family is fortunate there is video.

It looks like the woman who was shot and someone driving another vehicle were trying to leave the area at the same time. The agent that shot the woman is standing behind the vehicle in this image.

The woman waved the first vehicle by and then waved for the vehicle the ICE agents were in to go by, but they stopped instead. Below you can see her waving for the ICE agents to go by.

The agents then got out of the vehicle and approached the woman's vehicle and tried to force her to get out. She put the vehicle in reverse and turned her wheel to the right to avoid the agent that had moved around to the front of her vehicle from the other side.

If the woman had intended on hitting the agent, she wouldn't have taken steps to avoid him. He started firing after his body was clear of the vehicle.

She was obviously trying to get away from the hostile agents and avoid hitting the one that shot her. The woman holding the camera is the one that was yelling "no, no, shame," not the woman driving the vehicle.

I saw a better video, it was an officer in front of the vehicle who fired two shots, not the one who was at the car door.
There's a bullet hole in the windshield and one in the side rear view mirror, so he was in front of the vehicle.
I'm not making a judgment yet but it looks like a case for self defense could be made and I definitely wouldn't call it straight up murder like some have
