CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

On Tuesday, conservative provocateur Nick Sortor posted a video on X showing himself attempting to check in at the Lakewood, Minnesota, Hampton Inn at around 11 p.m. local time.

When Sortor requested a government rate for DHS employees, a person at the front desk said the location was not accepting reservations from the agency

"I'm a long time Hilton Honors Member, but I'll boycott your hotels," New Hampshire Republican state representative James Spillane said in a post on X.

Search interest on Google for the phrase "Boycott Hilton Hotels" also spiked on Monday and continued upward on Tuesday.

"Hilton takes any discriminatory actions by its franchisees with the highest degree of seriousness for obvious reasons," billionaire investor Bill Ackman posted on X on Tuesday. "As a Hilton customer and shareholder, I am comfortable that this situation was handled appropriately and in a timely fashion."
