Venezuelans and our allies are thanking President Trump for his decisive action. It is our enemies that are complaining.

I'll side with our President, the Venezuelans and our allies

No different than if some country kidnapped Trump for war crimes, some US citizens will protest, while a large majority will take to the streets and cheer. Here's what I would think Venezuelans want, and you may recognize these. An election where the duly elected winner is placed in power and the loser doesn't claim it was stolen and takes action to remain in power. What they also want is the US out their country and not to meddle in their sovereignty replete with not running the country and allowing Venezuelan interests control the destiny of their resources.

I don't know why anybody would ever believe anything else, but for the time being he seems to be getting what he wanted.

Where's that video of that kid differentiating how China invests in their citizenry, while the US invests in their military power and their billionaires. This move proofs his point.

That is not the US's business. Unless you want to start invading every nation that jails, tortures, and kills their citizens.

For those who play the losing short game which the US with constant and costly military intervention, replete with the definition of doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result, will always have those with the Bonnehoeffer effect. And it will continue to be a losing proposition just like given our history (place that country here). Again, we need to invest in our citizenry and not the industrial military complex Eisenhower warned us about decades ago. The goal here is no different then what we tried to do in Iraq. Open your eyes.

Following the Venezuelan Constitution, Rodriguez has been sworn in with the assent of the Supreme Court and the National Assembly. On what basis would you installl anyone else?
