  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Basically, you can't suck blood out of a turnip.Since homeless people can't afford to live. And shouldn't go to prison for being home less. Maybe the rich complainers can do more to help these people. Since Trump gave the rich more tax breaks.

The Democrats have economically hurt the working class. Trump is trying to bring back more jobs to America. Homeless people should conform with the law just like everyone else. The Obamas and the Pelosis and the Clintons certainly could allow people to at least temporarily camp on their estates.

Why should they? You don't let them camp in your yard, do you?

Those of the homeless who are living in roadable RVs are generally employed already.

Yeah, the viable options for many people have shrunk - a lot.

Trump is doing nothing more than making our groceries bills higher. Striking countries with our money. For no good reason. Firing good people. And trying to get good arrested for doing their job. Trump is making us pay more for detaining people in different countries. Obama puts money into programs for the poor. Also, as soon as a Republican becomes president, they seem to care about other countries problems. And programs for kids go away in the United States.

The truth is that Trump has brought inflation down to an average of 2.7% When he took office inflation was the worst it had been in 48 years. The nation should never forget how Democrats were warned yet passed that crazy spending bill that bumped up inflation so much. Under the Trump administration egg prices have dropped 82 percent since March, turkey prices were 33 percent less than for the Thanksgiving of 2024.

Inflation when Biden left office was 3%. Inflation this month is on track to be... 3%. There has been no appreciable change in inflation since Biden left office. Inflation 48 years prior to when Biden left office (1993 at the end of Bush Sr. term) was... 3.3%

Inflated percentage but egg prices are down, but only like 60%. What policy did Trump institute that caused egg prices to come down, but not much of anything else?

turkey price per pound nov 2024: $1.37
turkey price per pound nov 2025: $1.34

Your numbers seem... off. Did you look up any of this stuff before you posted it or are you just repeating something you heard... somewhere?

What about all of the poor complainers who have to deal with them more directly?

Perhaps we should make homelessness a death penalty offence? That will solve the problem once and for all time. No ugly encampments, no ugly people and best of all the drug problem will disappear. /s

“For too long, American families watched their paychecks shrink, grocery bills soar and futures dim, but that painful era is finally ending under President Trump’s leadership.
The inflation crisis that crippled families across the nation was created by the failed policies of the previous Democratic leadership and is now being reversed under “America First” governance. Mr. Trump entered office amid the worst cost-of-living crisis in decades. Inflation had surged to 9.1%, a level unseen in generations, inflicting a tax on every household’s budget and eroding real wages. Since then, “America First” policies have cut inflation by more than half, stabilizing prices and setting the foundation for sustained economic relief."

“For too long, American families watched their paychecks shrink,
That's still true and with the tarrifs, our fewer dollars stretch even less than before.
grocery bills soar
Still true.
and futures dim,
The future doesn't look too bright right now but that's not entirely Trump's fault.
but that painful era is finally ending under President Trump’s leadership.
Somebody wants us to believe this.

Yeah. We were also coming out of the worst global pandemic in a century.

I wonder if that had anything to do with the economic situation last year?
