Biden FBI Spied on Eight Republican Senators as Part of Arctic Frost Investigation, Grassley Oversight Reveals
WASHINGTON – An explosive FBI documentobtained by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) reveals the FBI targeted eight Republican senators’ personal cell phones for “tolling data” as part of its Arctic Frost investigation. One Republican member of the House of Representatives was also impacted. The Arctic Frost investigation formed the basis of Jack Smith’s elector case against President Donald Trump.
If you aren't concerned about investigation process then you aren't concerned about justice. Let me repeat that. If you aren't concerned about investigation process then you aren't concerned about justice. Investigation process is critical to the rule of law. Otherwise you get the rule of whoever has the power. You have to choose 'Rex Lex' or 'Lex Rex'. Under one you can imprison and execute anyone of the opposition for anything you want. Under the other the law can be followed impartially and there is the possibility of justice. If the FBI believed (correctly) that then former President Trump was engaged in criminal activity to overturn an election, then they had every right to tap the phones of the "suspects"/co-conspirators. I am more concerned about the crimes committed then the investigation process.
One would hope justice is blind. Doesn’t always seem to be the case.Old news (note the date on the article) which has already been discussed. Any reason why we're bringing it back up again?
To the point, I don't see what's so scandalous about this. There was a suspected federal crime. The Federal Bureau of Investigation was investigating said federal crime. They properly requested and obtained warrants for cell phone data related to that investigation, and once they had those warrants, they exercised them. The only information they sought was who was calling who, when, and where. They did not ask for or receive the contents of those calls.
I understand that some people are upset because a Democratic administration sought these warrants against Republican congressmen, but that alone does not constitute a scandal - should lawmakers who do not belong to the President's party be immune from federal investigation so long as he is in office? I would hope that no one believes that. If a Democratic lawmaker is suspected of committing a crime (or being involved in one) during the course of Trump's presidency, I would hope that they are investigated according to the proper legal processes.

Biden FBI? Seriously?
Give me a break. Biden didn't appoint Chris Wray to head the FBI. Donald Trump did.
Oh nose. You have earned a 500 point deduction for attempting to challenge the narrative.
Given that the investigation was never finished, I don't know how you could possibly come to that conclusion. No crimes were committed.
Absolutely. One would hope justice is blind.
Are there any specific instances you'd like to call out, or are you just going to vaguepost?Doesn’t always seem to be the case.
Jack Smith is a lying liar who lies.As Jack Smith said about similar circumstances...
"President Trump and his associates tried to call Members of Congress in furtherance of their criminal scheme, urging them to further delay certification of the 2020 election.”
“I didn’t choose those Members," Smith added, “President Trump did.”
I’d like to point out that the corruption trial of Bob Menendez (D-NJ) happened under a D President.Old news (note the date on the article) which has already been discussed. Any reason why we're bringing it back up again?

Nah.Jack Smith is a lying liar who lies.
It was finished enough to get an indictment from a federal grand jury on the ex-president.Given that the investigation was never finished, I don't know how you could possibly come to that conclusion.
