CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ridiculous. JFK is not "The Democratic Party." Trump is not "The Republican Party." The naming of buildings and monuments in not partisan in any way. Is the Lincoln Memorial a "Republican" memorial? Stop making excuses for this narcissist president who only seeks to honor himself and tarnish the legacy of former presidents and the country.

The similarities are just too perfect to be a coincidence.
One was in Texas, the other in Pennsylvania. One was in a city, the other in the sticks. One was moving in a car, the other stationary on a stage. One was shot by a former Marine pro Cuba communist, the other by a Republican. One president served in the Navy during a war, the other hid from the military during a conflict. One was loved by supporters and respected by opponents, the other seems to be disliked by everyone. One lived and one died. And the investigation into both was suspicious hinting at a cover up.
We are down the rabbit hole and through the looking glass people.

The contract was with the Kennedy Center. Redd owes nothing to the Trump Kennedy Center.If there was a contract and it was broken then the Kennedy Center deserves compensation.
