No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wormholes as shown in Contact and Interstellar are interesting. However, I am unclear about wormholes and their inclusion in hard sci-fi.

My storm of a ship arriving at an extrasolar planet is more about some of the difficult Human factors such a journey could encounter. Pieces of the ship deteriorating, failing technology and software, radiation, Human augmentation to the point a person my no longer be truly Human. Humans having to colonize a world with only ever having known the strict confines of a spacecraft, those same Humans trying to grasp the culture that sent them but having never been a part of it. Humans having to deal with an alien situation their ancestors sent them on.

What do I do on my personal home PC? Besides just talk to you on here?

Well, I have actually been researching college majors to see if there was anything I was interested in. Turns out there are.

I have also been using my computer to envision how I want to redecorate my room, as silly as that sounds.

If I tell you anything else I was doing, that would be an invasion of my privacy I feel and it would be crossing a boundary. So I won't tell you anymore.

This. I've gone through my things many times over through the years and given it to Goodwill. Each time I get rid of more clutter that I've accumulated over my lifetime. I still have more to get rid of. I have three full closets, camping gear and miscellaneous stuff I don't use on a daily basis but I dig out once in awhile. I have more clothes than I need. Just have to keep working at it and getting rid of stuff.
