Any photography which includes the sun has to be low exposure, so none of the features on the moon's surface will be visible. If you take a longer exposure then the image gets swamped by the sunlight.Well it’s interesting that throughout all the decades of photographing sun eclipses no one has adjusted the exposure enough to show the surrounding area? Also, why are no craters or the rugged surface of the moon ever seen on the eclipsing ’object’?
It doesn't take genius to figure this out.
