  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cluttered room - too many books and clothes

Now that I’ve gotten a job, my room is now the thing that is overwhelming me - my closet and dresser drawers are very full. I have bags piled on top of my dresser in front of the mirror and carts in walkways.

I don’t just want to get rid of all of my stuff though. A lot of it is valuable clothes that I just want to wear and wear out, and other stuff I want to sell. I have unfinished sewing projects and other unfinished projects that I want to finish. And I’m tired from work.

If you all could pray about knowledge and strength for what to do with all of this stuff that God has over-provided me with, I would appreciate it. I start a better job in a week that is going to be even more exhausting that my current one, and so I’d like to tackle this problem the best I can before that happens. Thanks!

Sell excess clothes and build a new bookshelf.

Sorry. I am a bibliophage myself. Those would be my priorities.

This is actually a good suggestion, I’m getting a new wooden chest tomorrow to do just that. One of my current boxes is broken, so I will replace it with that and it will help.

As for the rest of it, I am slowly making progress.
