No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When I see what happens to Christians in Syria since the “Arab Spring” ( & centuries before) & know that a Syrian convert from Islam to Christianity still has to watch their back in America, I wonder.

I'm not all that concerned about "the Islam" factor of Mamdani.

If he was actually devout, then that may be some cause for concern, but given his political stances (both social and economic) he's clearly not a devout adherent to Islam.

In that debate between him, Cuomo, and that "Guardian Angel" wanna-be, he openly admitted to patronizing legal pot dispensaries, and his position on LGBTQ issues are pretty well-known, so clearly he's not that "strict".
