When I see what happens to Christians in Syria since the “Arab Spring” ( & centuries before) & know that a Syrian convert from Islam to Christianity still has to watch their back in America, I wonder.
Some of it looks familiar. This is from last year, but I'm hopeful this year will be similar in Damascus and the new regime continues to do what it can to protect all its demographics in the face of the extremists who are certainly still active.
Believe it or not, some people aren't aware our numbers are Arabic. Sort of like people panicking about di-hydrogen monoxide rusting pipes while being in our bodies.
Middle Eastern Christians have no strategic value ( in fallen worldly terms) in the grim “realpolitik”.
