  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied unto you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As we draw near to the celebration of our Savior’s birth, my heart grows heavy for our Christian brothers, sisters, and innocent children suffering in bondage under landlords and brick kiln owners across the rural areas of our nation. Many of them work from dawn to dusk, enduring hunger, poverty, and hopelessness yet they still lift their eyes to heaven and whisper,
“Lord, remember us.”

The Word of God commands us:
“Remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews 13:3

This Christmas, when we gather around lighted trees and share gifts in warmth and love, let us not forget those who have none. There are children who have never known the joy of a Christmas gift, and families who long simply to know that they are not forgotten by their brothers and sisters in Christ.

Our Lord Jesus began His ministry by proclaiming:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor; He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” Luke 4:18

Beloved, this same Spirit calls upon us today. Through our prayers, gifts, and acts of compassion, we can become the hands and feet of Jesus bringing light to those who sit in darkness and hope to those who feel forgotten.

I humbly invite you to:

Pray for God’s divine help and deliverance for these families.

Consider a special offering or Christmas gift to bless the children and provide relief to the families. in face of Finance or Warm Clothes, or Food.

Share this burden with others in your church and community, that together we may awaken hearts to love in action.

“Whoever has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his good deed.” Proverbs 19:17
Let us not celebrate Christmas merely in words and songs, but in deeds of mercy and compassion. May the love of Christ stir every heart to give, to pray, and to stand with our suffering brothers and sisters until the chains of injustice are broken and freedom sings in every home.

With heartfelt love and prayer,
