  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A few years back, genius, Eddie Alencar, published '16 Emergency Landings' which make more sense on F/E map.

https://www.flatearthresearch.com/w...EWoQBPw7PjIT6q0rXqGRAdztCiYU8kK8zb5j-WDsGBIWc

More here:

If you consider the above, you will realize that pilots use the above map or something extremely similar, and never a globe or anything close to that.

The truth is there for anyone who wants it.
I know I already replied to this but just so you know I'm not full of hot air, a video version of the book by the 'genius' Eddie Alencar was posted by @Edwin Wright 2 years ago which I picked apart in a series of posts from here.

Does anyone know the whereabouts of an animation someone did a few years ago for a lunar eclipse? They had a flat earth map with arrows projected from multiple locations in the direction people in those locations were looking to see the eclipse. The arrows were all pointing in different directions until the flat map was wrapped around a globe, at which point all the arrows were parallel.
It was such a powerful demonstration of the globe earth and the falsity of the flat earth model, but I never made note of the source of the animation. It was just tacked on the end of another video.

Sure I have, why do you want to know ? Are you having trouble ?

Your lucky you don't just get '2' ^_^
I wouldn't have mentioned your spelling at all but for "2" things. 1) The saying people in glass houses comes to mind when you pick somebody else up on their spelling, and 2) You haven't addressed the question I have been asking you in any logical way.

So I'll ask you again, where do satellite tv signals come from if not from satellites in geostationary orbit over a globe earth?

You've made claims and posted videos making claims that satellites do not exist. I'm asking you to back up those claims with logical facts. But all you have is whatever other flat earthers claim (which is just nonsense that does not fit reality and for which I have given logical reasoned answers as to why it's nonsense) or a claim of "belief" in it.

But it is not about belief but about facts which fit the reality. Without those facts, then your claim is just an irrational statement.

Why do words that sound the same have a different meaning but are spelt different:

There- Their,
To - Too,
New - Knew
plain-plane.
meat-meet.
berth-birth.
brake-break.
male-mail.
right-write.
steal-steel.
pray-prey.

No wonder people who are learning English find it so difficult.

Yes, English is a difficult language. But it helps, if somebody is a native English speaker, to spell words correctly so that we all understand what you are saying.

What about the other thing that you continue to ignore?

I'll ask it again. Where do satellite tv signals come from if not from satellites in geostationary orbit over a globe earth?

I'm not parroting. It's called holding you to account on your claims and seeking answers for them. And any rational person will do the same.

You need to start being honest about the fact that your claim about satellites doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Why don't they ?
I am not a satellite tv expert, but we have been told by someone here who knows about such things that domestic satellite dishes are pointed to the sky, which wouldn't be much good if the signals came through cables, from ground-based masts, or even through the post, all of which you have put forward as possibilities in your posts. (The mind boggles at the idea of the postman pushing tv signals through our letter-boxes.) Where do the signals come from that the sky-facing satellite dishes pick up? Another ide you have put forward is that the signals are bounced off the ionosphere, but it has been explained to us that the ionosphere is not reliable enough to give constant pictures on our television screens. Finally, you have suggested balloons, but in that case, the domestic satellite dishes would have to be able to adjust themselves to the ever-changing position of the balloon. So unless you can provide a credible source for where the signals are coming from that are picked up by sky-pointing satellite dishes, your claim that satellites don't exist really doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

And suppose orbiting satellites are ?

With the earth tuning & moving through space at a exorbitant speed, I cant see how orbiting satellites are reliable either.

That is why they are called geostationary satellites. They are placed in orbit at a speed that exactly matches that of the earth's rotation, so that, with respect to the earth, they are stationary.

If you still say that satellites don't exist, where do the signals that produce the pictures come from that are picked up by satellite dishes pointing to the sky?

Unless you have typoglycemia :D

Then even with massive mispellings you can still read it.
