Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

President Trump has pardoned a long list of political allies accused of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election, according to Justice Department Pardon Attorney Ed Martin.

A proclamation published on Martin's personal X accountlate Sunday listed 77 people who received "full, complete, and unconditional" pardons, including Rudy Giuliani, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and Sidney Powell, a former Trump attorney who spread conspiracy theories about ballot fraud after Trump lost the 2020 election.

The pardons are largely symbolic as none of the names listed were ever charged with federal crimes. Dozens of people listed were charged in multiple swing states that were the center of unfounded claims of election fraud, including Georgia, Nevada, Arizona and Wisconsin.

Nevertheless it continues to send the message -- break the law for me and you get a pardon.

Trump makes a lot of money on those pardons. I'm not at all surprised he keeps doing them!

We can all agree that justice is bought and sold in America right? This is just another example of that.

And of course Republicans LOVE to encourage this kind of behaviour.

I think there is a difference. The Biden admin didn't go after any of those people. States yes, the feds no. The Biden admin didn't have an enemies list. The Trump admin today is making why Biden pardoned those ahead of time come to fruition.

Many of the pardon's Biden gave are questionable as well it's not a one sided thing.

I can't think of one person who was pardoned by Biden while doing his bidding.
Like the seditionists, all these people played a roll in Trump's attempt to steal the election.
