Uganda, interestingly enough, is harshly anti LGBT because they are an overwhelmingly majority Christian country.

Fortunately the mayor of NYC will have to uphold our secular laws and values we have and cherish in this country.

There seems to be this sentiment that a mayor is some kind of all powerful monarch who rules by edict and everybody just has to go along with what he demands which just speaks to how much Trump’s behavior as president has poisoned people’s view of government and how it’s supposed to work in this country.
