Successful economic policies don’t have the government shut down in a month, flirting with breaking the longest shutdown in US history record… One Trump already had, I may add; as it occured over his administration in 2018… The man couldn’t care less about the American people, and yet there are people so hopelessly devoted to him they will congratulate him running a ship aground, saying to ignore that it’s sinking and celebrate the abundance of water previously denied them by the evil Democrats.

I mean, the man just held a Great Gatsby-themed party with the tagline “a little party never killed nobody.” Other than he clearly didn’t get what the book was about, nor did he get what the movie or song he’s quoting from that movie means (which is no surprise TBH, but still), short of him saying “Valletta, I do not care about you or anything you care about,” I’m not sure he could be any more blatant.

After closing a deal with the Chinese for rare earth metals and to halt Chinese fentanyl from pouring into our country and killing our youth, Trump rushed back so he and Melania could give children Halloween treats. Don't forget the Biden administration lost 300,000 children, and so far the Trump administration has rescued 23,000 of them despite threats and harassment against Trump, ICE, and their families.

It's a shame that a judge needs to order the POTUS to do the right thing. But, in 2025, that is where we are with Donald J. Trump as the President. Cruelty is the point.

Yes it does bother me that the Dems voted 13 times to not pass the CR having to hold it hostage so people don't have their healthcare premiums rise, or lose it outright, along with in some cases in rural America their only hospital shuttered. Listen, Trump for the last 9 years has said he had a healthcare plan that is both better and cheaper than the ACA. All the GOP would have to do, since they control all of government, is bring that to the floor. If it is what Trump say it is, the Dems would be more than happy to pass it.

I am glad he's signaling to do what the judge ruled. Because with him, sometimes judges rulings are just something to ignore.

IMO, he correctly realized that if he continuing to witthold SNAP emergency funds was as a losing position poltiically. Complying with the judges order is a convenient way for Trump to reverse course.

I think the stalemate may end soon.
Why?
Democrats poised to win NYC mayor, Virginia and NJ governor, and more. They have also won some special elections.
People are mad their benefits were scrubbed to finance billionaire tax breaks.
Polls show Americans are getting smart.
Enrollment for ACA begins in a few days. A stampede of 26 million angry people.
The number of voters with kick me signs will be dwindling.

It would seem a judge disagrees with your assessment. Unless you have compelling evidence, I am going to go with they likely have more knowledge of the case then you do.
