  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The EARTH also was CORRUPT BEFORE GOD. And GOD LOOKED UPON THE EARTH, and BEHOLD, it was CORRUPT, for ALL FLESH HAD CORRUPTED HIS WAY UPON THE EARTH.

The Lord repented to have made man, both man and beast, the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air.

Noah FOUND GRACE in the EYES OF THE LORD. ( for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, with THOSE SEVEN; they ARE THE EYES OF THE LORD, which run to and fro THROUGH THE WHOLE EARTH. Zechariah 4:10.)

Noah was a JUST man and PERFECT in his generations and NOAH WALKED WITH GOD.

The earth also was CORRUPT BEFORE GOD, and God looked upon the earth, (A LAMB AS IT HAD BEEN SLAIN, having SEVEN HORNS AND SEVEN EYES, which are THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD SENT FORTH INTO ALL THE EARTH. Revelation 5:6.) and BEHOLD, it was CORRUPT, for ALL FLESH HAD CORRUPTED HIS WAY UPON THE EARTH.

God said unto Noah, that the end of all flesh is come before Him, THE EARTH FILLED WITH VIOLENCE, through them, and BEHOLD, He will destroy then WITH THE EARTH.

Make you an ark of Gopher wood.

(According to the Lords abundant MERCY, He has BEGOTTEN US AGAIN, unto a lively HOPE by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. To an inheritance INCORRUPTIBLE, that does not fade away/PERISH, reserved in heaven, by the power of God through faith, to be REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME.)

(Call on the Father and pass your time here in FEAR, as you know you were NOT REDEEMED WITH CORRUPTIBLE THINGS, but with the precious BLOOD OF CHRIST, as A LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH AND WITHOUT SPOT, manifest in these LAST TIMES for us, by Him we believe in God that raised Him up from the dead, giving Him glory.)

(Being BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, but OF INCORRUPTIBLE, by THE WORD OF GOD, which LIVES AND ABIDES FOR EVER.)

(By the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.)

(The heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.)

(By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; BY THE WHICH HE CONDEMNED THE OLD WORLD.)

(Noah became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.)

(we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, LET US HAVE GRACE, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.)

(The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. We, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.)

Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

2 Peter 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Genesis 6:7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

God tells Noah of the flood He brings of water upon the EARTH, to destroy all flesh that has the breath of life from UNDER HEAVEN, but with Noah He would establish His covenant, and they shall come into the ark, his sons, his wife and his sons wives, and of every living thing of fall flesh, two of very kind male and female, and to take all food tat is eaten for them all, and Noah did according to all that God commanded him, so he did.

The Lord said unto Noah, for him and all his house to come into the ark, for Noah God had seen righteous before Him in that generation.

God tells Noah, for yet seven days and He will cause it to rain upon the earth, forty days and forty nights, and every living substance that God has made, He will destroy from off the face of the earth. Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him.

It came to pass after seven days, the waters of the flood were upon the earth, and the rain was upon the earth forty days and fort nights.

In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day, all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;, them and every kind of all flesh of beast, creeping thing and very fowl, every bird of every sort.

They went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded Noah.

The flood was forty days upon the earth, the waters increased and BARE UP THE ARK, and it was LIFT UP ABOVE THE EARTH.

The waters prevailed, increasing greatly upon the earth, and the ark WENT UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS.

(now is the judgement of THIS WORLD, now the prince OF THIS WORLD, shall be cast out. If I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH, I will draw all men unto me. They asked how the Son of man MUST BE LIFTED UP.)

Sometimes disobedient, the longsuffering of God WAITED IN THE DAYS OF NOAH, while the ARK WAS PREPARING, few, eight SOULS WERE SAVED BY WATER. The like figure, BAPTISM NOW SAVES US, the answer of a good conscience, BY THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST, who is GONE INTO HEAVEN, on the right hand of God, angels, authorities and powers being MADE SUBHECT UNTO HIM.)

Genesis 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

Genesis 7:1 And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Genesis 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
5 And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him.

Genesis 7:10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.
17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Genesis 8:4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

(The Mountains of Ararat are a dormant volcanic mountain range in eastern Turkey, near the borders of Armenia and Iran. They are known for having two peaks, Greater Ararat (\(5,137\) m) and Lesser Ararat (\(3,896\) m), with Greater Ararat being the highest point in Turkey.)

Noah began to be a husbandman, planting a vineyard, drank of the wine and was drunk, uncovered in his tent, Ham the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father and told his two other brothers, who took a garment and covered the nakedness of their father. Noah awoke and knew what the younger had done, and said, cursed be Canaan, to be a servant of servants, and said blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant. Japheth God enlarges, to dwell in the tents of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant. (Israel, the Gentiles, and the children of the flesh.)

(By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.)

(The Lord spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly)

(The Lord turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condeming them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly.)

Genesis 9:20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

Abraham dwelled in Canaan, and Lot pitched towards Sodom.

The men of Sodom were wicked sinners before the Lord.)

When Abraham was separated from Lot, He said for Abraham to see the land, northward and southward, eastward and westward, and all the land he sees God will give it to Abraham and to his seed for ever. Gid tells Abraham to arise and walk through the land in the height of it and in the breadth of it, for he will give it unto him.

The sun went down and it was dark, BEHOLD a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. In the SAME DAY, the Lord made a covenant with Abraham, saying He had given his seed that land, from the river of Egypt until the great river, the river Euphrates.

(The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.)

(Men, brothers, and fathers, HEARKEN, The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, telling him to get out of his country, away from his kindred, and come into a land He will show him, then he came out and dwelt in Charron, and when his father was dead he removed into the land of Canaan, giving him no inheritance, YET HE PROMISED that He would GIVE IT TO HIM FOR A POSESSION, and to his SEED after him, WHEN AS YET HE HAD NO CHILD.)

Genesis 13:12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.
14 And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

Genesis 15:17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
18 In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,
21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

Acts 7:2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,
3 And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

God said to Abraham He will establish HIs covenant between him and his seed after him, for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto Abraham and to HIS SEED AFTER HIM. ( I will be a FATHER UNTO HIM/I WILL MAKE HIM MY FIRSTBORN/HIGHER THAN THE KINGS OF THE EARTH/AFTER RISEN SAID I AM NOGT YET ASCENDED TO MY FATHER AND YOUR FATHER, TO MY GOD AND YOUR GOD. Psalm 89:24-29. John 20:17.)

(God said that Abrahams seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.)

(And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.)

(And HE GAVE HIM THE COVENANT OF CIRCUMCISION: and so Abraham BEGAT USAAC AND CIRCUMCISED HIM THE EIGHTH DAY,; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.)

Psalm 89:24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

Acts 7:6 And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.
8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

God said Sarah shall bear Abraham a wife indeed, and he shall call his name Isaac, and He will establish HIs covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with HIS SEED after him.

(To Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.)

(The law SERVED till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.)

Genesis 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

The Lord said to Moses, He is the God of his father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. The Lord said He had seen the affliction of HIs people which are in Egypt, and He knows their sorrows. Giod had come down to deliver them from the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land into a good land, unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

(An angel of the Lord appeared to Moses in the wilderness of MOUNT SINA, the voice of the Lord came unto him and said, He is the God of his fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. )

(God said He has seen the affliction of HIs people in Egypt, and heard their groaning, and was come down to deliver them, and for Moses to come and He will send him into Egypt.)

Exodus 3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
7 And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Acts 7:30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,
32 Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

Moses tells all the people he has set before them that day, a blessing and a curse. A blessing if they obey the commandments of the Lord their God. A curse if they will not obey the commandments of the Lord their God, and go after other gods. It shall come to pass when the Lord had brought them into the land where they go to possess it, that they shall put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

(Gerizim. The mountain is one of the highest peaks in the West Bank and rises to 881 m (2,890 ft) above sea level, 70 m (230 ft) lower than Mount Ebal. Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim are the highest peaks in the Nablus region. )

(You that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. He who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.)

(Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Agar. This Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.)

(But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.)

Deuteronomy 11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
29 And it shall come to pass, when the Lord thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.
30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?

Galatians 4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and they presented themselves before God.

He tells them this says God, their fathers dwelled on THIS SIDE OF THE FLOOD, Terah, the father of Abraham, and they SERVEDD OTHER GODS.

God took Abraham their father, from the OTHER SIDE OF THE FLOOD, and led him THROUGHOUT ALL THE LAND OF CANAAN, multiplied all his seed and GAVE HIM ISAAC. ( A GIFT IN HIS OLD AGE.) and gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau. ( Esau was given mount Seir, but Jacob and HIS CHILDREN, went down into Egypt.)

Now they should FEAR THE LORD, and serve Him in SINCERITY AND IN TRUTH, and put away the gods which their fathers have served ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FLOOD, and IN EGYPT, and SERVE THE LORD.

If it sems EVIL TO THEM TO SERVE THE LORD, choose that day, to whom they will serve, whether the gods which their fathers served that were on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FLOOD, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land they were now dwelling, but as for JOSHUA AND HIS HOUSE, they will SERVE THE LORD.

Joshua 24:1 And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.

Joshua 24:2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.

Joshua 24:3 And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
4 And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.

Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Jesus tells the people of Israel He did not come to destroy the law, or the prophets, but to fulfil.

He tells them, truly, one jot or one little part shall not depart from the law, till all be fulfilled, and guards it by haven and earth pass first, also the law and the prophets were until John, since/from then, the kingdom of heaven is preached, and it is easier for heaven and earth to pass than for one little part of the law to fail.

In Christ dwells the fulness of the Godhead in the body, and we are complete in Him, He is THE HEAD of all PRINCIPALITY AND POWER. ( THE HEAD OF THE CORNER THEY REJECTED Matthew 21:37-45. Luke 20:13-19.))

We are circumcised WITH HIM, by the circumcision of Christ, BURIED WITH HIM IN BAPTISM, also risen with him by the faith of the operation of God, who has raised Him from the dead.

We who were dead in our sins were quickened TOGETHER WITH HIM, having FORGIVEN US ALL TRESSPASSES, blotting out the ORDINANCES that was against us, CONTRARY TO US, NAILING THEM TO HIS CROSS TAKING THEM OUT OF THE WAY. He SPOILED PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS, making a show of them OPENLY, TRIUMPHING OVER THEM IN IT.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
