You are misunderstanding. The sundials themselves were fixed. The time readings on the sundials have to be adjusted according to the season. The only time most sundials match clock time is at the equinox.

That would be the case (barely) if there were enough people travelling to warrant a direct flight, but the only flights I could find had a stopover in Santiago

How can the ice walls be much further in? You have said that they are what the bible means when it talks of God holding the sea back with doors. An inland ice wall would have no effect on the sea.

As for flights over Antarctica I just did a Google search, and the first site I came across was one offering that very thing: Seating and Pricing

How ever does Psalm 75:6 show anything about whether Antarctica exists as a continent? In its context, that verse is talking about promotion or exaltation not coming from a certain compass direction, but from God:

“4 ‘I said to the boastful, ‘Do not deal boastfully,’ And to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up the horn. 5 Do not lift up your horn on high; Do not speak with a stiff neck.’”” “6 ¶ For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south. 7 But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.” (Ps 75:4-7 NKJV)

But the ocean around any country stops at the coast. As I said before, the verse you quoted makes no specific reference to the sea around Antarctica, but to the sea generally. Where is the huge wall around Wales, for example?

But the final words of my quote about the flights over Antarctica say specifically that they do not merely fly to the outer edges: "Aboard a cruise ship you would only touch the edge of the coast. From the North is where promotion comes from, from God i.e the pole star, Zion, the Arctic. Not the south, not the east & not the west. Meaning there is the Arctic but there is no Antarctica.

The North is mentioned a lot in the Bible.

But Zion is in the Middle East. Anyway, The psalm doesn't say that promotion or exaltation comes from the north, but that it comes from God. Verse 7 says:

“But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.” (Ps 75:7 NKJV)
