Pray that Jesus Christ calms the Hurricane Melissa that is heading towards the Caribbean to the point where it becomes a mere gentle breeze:
Melissa has been upgraded to a category five storm and could become Jamaica's strongest on record.

Moving at 3 mph with maximum sustained winds 175 mph.
That's bad. Reminds me of that category 5 hurricane that crawled through the Bahamas, wrecking havoc.
Had I seen Melissa earlier, I would have been praying in behalf of the Jamaicans.
This hurricane would need to speed up, or quickly die down... or completely make a 90 degree turn to spare Jamaica the brute force of this hurricane.
That would take a miracle, that would make every meteorologist become a Christian.
We'll have to pray that persons take... or have taken the necessary action required to preserve their life, and if possible secure their property.
No doubt many would have done so, and not act foolishly, as some do... believing that they would not get hit.
This would prove to be a surprise for some though, because this hurricane's path is erratic.
Many probably thought this hurricane would brush by to the East of the island, or pass South, and brush West.
We are in for some serious weather, until the end of this system, so along with prayer, we must be well prepared.
