  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have. You just disagree with the conclusions and so anything you don't like is fake news. What is this MAGA denial of reality? Is it that by following the father of lies (Trump) it means you can no longer distinguish the truth?

Or do you just get in the habit of calling anything you don't like lies? Genuine questions - because I have trouble understanding how America has fallen to the point where a vaccine denier is the head of the department of health, and a big lie conspiracy theorist like Patel is the head of the FBI.

No, it did not need to happen this way - it could have happened in November when it was originally scheduled and agreed upon - hmmm.. why the need to change? I wonder.

Because the big beautiful bill will kill an extra 50,000 Americans a year by knocking them off healthcare!

There is no "Schumer shutdown."

And since the Trump administration has proven themselves untrustworthy in every single contact they've had with Democrats (and with the American people--look at his campaign promises) Schumer is correct to do his best for 26 million Americans on the ACA, and many thousands of hospital and medical employees who will lose their jobs if their services become unaffordable to 26 million Americans and demand drops drastically.

I am not denying reality at all. I have not called anything in your posts lies. What I have said is that your sources are predicting and estimating stuff and also that your sources are not reliable.
