An Illinois police chief has accused ICE agents of making fake 911 calls to local police.

Broadview Police Chief Thomas Mills told CBS News that multiple officers responded to a call about someone trying to break into the gate of an ICE facility on Thursday. When they arrived, they just saw a CBS News cameraman and security guard taking pictures.

“It’s disturbing. It’s ridiculous,” Mills said.

According to an incident report, it was an ICE agent that made the call. This is the very same ICE facility where masked agents shot a pepper ball inside CBS News Chicago reporter Asal Rezaei’s car completely unprompted.

“We’re going to look at maybe reaching out to Cook County State’s Attorney for subpoenas, “ said Mills, who has vowed to get the name of every officer involved in the incident.

Sounds like some ICE agents need to go to jail.

The guy in NC who stabbed the Ukranian girl on the train had been, most recently, let out on bail for making a bogus 911 call.

I wonder if the crowd that had been so eager to have him locked up indefinitely for that offense will be so eager to see that punishment meted out to these guys.

No one is above the law, don't care what side of the political isle you are or where you are in government. Find em and put em in jail.

Fake police calls are a big deal. Fake police calls from another law enforcement agency to throw off the local police from their most likely illegal operations is deeply troubling.

It’s no wonder the CPD doesn’t want to have anything to do with these invading thugs.

Sounds like the ICE agents are taking the low road as a form of professional retaliation.

While I can understand ICE being frustrated with the directives from 'upper management' (mayor and governor) telling local PDs to not assist them... when they do stuff like this, they're taking it out on people who could very well be on their side.


If I (on the DevOps side) and my counterpart on the database team both have Directors that are making boneheaded moves to spite each other due to some sort of anatomy measuring contest, me and my counterpart wasting each other's time doesn't address that issue.


They're having that UFC event at the White House soon...

I'd say let's just have a heavyweight bout Trump v. JB Pritzker... four, 20-second rounds (allowing for the 10 second walk to the middle of the octagon)
