CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not me. One of my earliest memories was of not wanting to go to a certain kid's house while my mother ran errands because I knew he would be watching them. I was about three or four and took their antics literally.

What is it that i am missing? A date would be helpful. I did notice that it was from New York city. So are we discussing the high state income tax rates on the earned income from winnings in blue states? The OP was not helpful at all. Just a random picture of a random unverified piece of paper with zero context. TBH, I really dont even think this thread qualifies to be in the American Politics section. It looks like a bogus picture from a meme found on FaceBook that the OP thought was funny and wanted to share.

That was sort of the point of the original image, but a quick glance at the numbers ought to clue one in to their veracity.

Not quite, but you're getting a lot warmer. The addressee in the top left is one clue. I did a reverse image search, but now I see that there's a watermark in the bottom right that gives it away.
