This talk really is alarming.
A historian breaks down the technological and societal changes and tensions leading up to WW1, WW2, and then a possible WW3.
He looks at the intra-national conflicts and international conflicts brewing, and alliances being pulled in.
We are so very close to something truly nasty - and so very unprepared with Trump at the helm.
Trump delivered the worst speech in American history to America's top Generals and Admirals.
He said the military need to prepare for the real war in San Francisco, Chicago, New York etc, "they're the new war zones" etc.
Trump also insulted modern stealth ships, and he preferred the look of the WW2 style steel battleships.
Also contributed this bit of wisdom. "Bullets are cheaper than Cruise Missiles", talked about defending firemen while they are up their ladders, and spent an hour patronising America's absolutely Top Brass! Time for the 25th yet?
He then compared the 'vicious people' the Generals and Admirals must plan to fight with the reporters that say bad things about him? What - did they hurt his feelings so bad he's got to compare 'war stories' with the Top Brass?
Then there's more on Canada joining America, rambling about mythical trade from Canada - mythical figures plucked out of the air - "more trade than under Biden" - just random brain-blurts. No one in the audience believes a thing this confused man is saying. They're just trying to sit stoically through it all.
"The other day they found $31 billion dollars - $31 billion! They just found it - they're not sure from which it came."
WHAT is he talking about? This is meant to be a motivational speech to the Top Brass - and they're just hearing random brain blurts about everything that ever crossed this guy's mind?
This isn't even embarrassing or sad - it's getting dangerous.
He is meant to be the USA's Commander in Chief - and this attitude shows he is anything but. He does not listen to briefings, because his - and completely unprepared for something as difficult as a major conflict in today's world. He would be too busy telling them how they disappointed him and how he disapproved of their ships to LISTEN to what was happening in a complex situation!
The generals openly smacked their foreheads at some of his ranting!
