  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What are your favorite 'interactive' small group bible study series? (printed)

I believe that we can grow in our relationships with one another and learn scripture both 'at the same time' - that is only if the Bible study material and the leader promote 'good conversation' about the bible and the bibles application.

I am seeking Bible Study material, that you may have used, that has good interesting questions that promote 'group 'discussions' and 'conversation'. And preferably not just simplistic or obvious answers. I would prefer material that 'digs a little deeper' and encourages 'thinking' through the bibles text while avoiding the too often 'how do you feel about this' question. I agree Bible studies should have some relatable questions such as the common 'Was there ever a time when you felt happy or sad?' style questions, but I'm looking for something that limits this to less than 30% of the questions.

THIS :groupray::groupray: :groupray: NOT THIS :|:|:|:|:sleep:

(I am familiar with Navpress, Interactions (Willow Creek), Group bible Study (Serendipity House), LifeGuide series (InterVarsity Press), Community Bible Study and BSF etc, and such, if some of these are your favorites let me know). But are there other lesser known or smaller publications you like that are available?
