  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Christians - May I have your attention for a moment?

The first time you had a pastoral visit in 70 yrs. Carl that’s very much long time. What did you do to recieve such a visit? Perhaps back pay in tithes were overdue: )

The meeting was to discuss a restructure of services.

It seems to me that Christianity shines the most when put to the test. It sorts out the wheat from the chaff because it calls on Christians to put their faith on the line. To be tested in the fire.

The early church grew within a world of persecution. In fact it grew and shone because of the persecution and that Christians were Christ like in their belief even willing to die for Christ.

I see the current times entering a similar era in the west which you would think was the last place for this to happen. You hear of this happening in places like China or in Islamist nations. But not in the western free and democratic nations for which Christianity was a big part.

But in recent decades we have seen a falling away in the public square from God and now the growing hate for God and Christians. So I think we are entering a time when Christians will be tested and called to standup.

It won't just be theory or sermons on Sunday and Ted Talks but living the example.

It seems to me that certain conditions create the state of things in a society and the world. Everything that has happened prior was leading to this time and will continue to bring about a time where the world will become more opposed and Christians they will be called to make a choice.

The gradual compromise and watering down of God and Christ and the bible has run its course and we are coming full circle back to God and Christs truth and the world don't like it. The experiment has failed. There are now two stark choices which is what the world has been offering and is now fighting to keep. Or there is Christs truth.

I think moving forward we will see bold Christians like Kirk leading the way no matter what and good Christians coming together to shine like a beacon in the dark that the world will not be able to deny. But this will make the world hate even greater Christ and in turn Christ will shine even more in Christians.

This has always been the way when people fall away from God. He never abandons His people and always shines the way by sending a message or revelation. Especially in the hardest times when there seems no hope.

It’s not going to be that simple. I posted a portion of a piece I heard earlier and will add the following later which may be of interest to you concerning the silos. The communities you’re envisioning and working together is being upended through technology. I’ll give you a sneak peek.

Right now we’re on different continents and able to access the site. But silos will change that. We’ll experience a different internet nationwide further reduced by location and filtered into different pockets. We could be seated next to one another and unable to communicate. Because the silo I’m in restricts my engagement to others in the group.

That may sound bizarre but it’s fairly close to what I’ve suspected and why I’ve drawn comparisons with the Hunger Games. The distracts don’t interact with one another outside of the game and the capital. He shared an example where two people could walk down the street and have a different experience. One would see calm and the other chaos.

We’re living under surveillance now. Look at your street lamps and traffic poles. We have listening devices on our streets as well. The Lord made a comment the other day and from what He said it’s clear that people will need a place to go in the natural. And it wasn’t a small number. Hectares would hold a lot.

I’ve heard discussions around living outside of smart cities by officials and from what I can glean you’re cut off from resources. I don’t know the extent of that but it may include medical and police services. We have robocops, drones and police dogs in addition to sound frequency weapons and one that blasts heat.

It may be necessary to go back to the drawing board to seek the Lord’s input. I suspect that social credit is tied to the silos which might explain the different experiences. And there’s something atmospheric that makes people docile and unwilling to fight. We’re heading into difficult times with technology beyond our comprehension. And that’s the tip of the iceberg.

Sounds ominus. My son speaks of similar stuff. Younger people are more in tune with this as they are at the forefront of tech and the internet and social media. He says there is something in the water or food that is making us sick. Or as you said making us dumbed down or forgetful.

I definitely believe that with modern tech and with Covid, terrorism and other safety and security issues as well as economics in food supply and energy ect that the time is coming where governments and agencies will implement some for of control. All the signs are there and in some ways they can justify this under safety and security as with Covid.

But with more force or ways of controlling people as they know that the next pandemic or world even like a natural disaster or war will panic people. Not just that we can see the rising tension around the world with immigration and the fighting over territory, rights to housing, and basic needs being threatened or percieved as a threat by the refugee crisis around the world.

It seems to me that the problems now experienced in one nation are similar to many. When a conflict breaks out in the middle east or in Ukraine the whole world is now involved and affected. Almost like all problems are becoming one big problem for the world.

But its becoming an ideological issue. Its no longer about land, or economics but ideology. Which to me is a spiritual battle. Like all the pieces are being put in place for a showdown between good and evil. Which is for Christians Christ and the antiChrists whether that be Islamists, some mad Russian, Chinese or Korean dictator or ideologues within our own nations.

For me I think the biggest threat is the woloves within our own nations and even churches. At least you know what you get with radical Islamists or a crazy Putin. But the wolves undermine things from the inside and before you know it your deep in their lair if your not careful. '

Not only that they work towards the same hate that radicals do but do it with charm and narratives that sound good. This has alrerady happened and really this is the nature or the world which lives by the flesh. Its appealing to the senses and easy to fall for.

Thats is why I think we are entering a time where Christians will be called to live opposed to this system which will cause them to have to suffer. As you said this may be coming sooner than we think.

PS I was wondering does any of what you are tal;king about with the Silos and all that have anything to do with what I have heard from the World Economic Forum about the great Reset where everyone will have less and be happy lol.
