Things are Heating Up

Things are heating up, you see.
Soon our nations won’t be free.
We will lose our liberty,
For to God not bow the knee.

Many claim their faith in Christ,
But to Him, they’re not His wife.
Sold to slavery to sin.
Do not let the Spirit in.

Think they know the will of God.
Think that Jesus gives the nod
For their sins to be forgiven,
Promised entry into heaven.

But the gospel they forsake.
Turn from sin, they will not take.
Obey God and His commands
They reject, His Words they ban.

Easy way now, they do go,
For the right way they don’t know.
Broad the way which leads to hell.
Many go there, sad to tell.

Narrow gate we enter in,
So our sins are now forgiven.
Narrow way, it leads to life.
Few that find it, be Christ’s wife.

Obey God and His commands.
Follow Jesus, know His plans.
Leave our sinful lives behind.
Love each other, be ye kind.

Fear not what is coming soon.
Scripture warns us, not immune.
Beastly ruler be in place.
Tribulation we will face.
