No, it currently means that there are some tens of thousands of job opportunities less for Georgia. Those South Koreans were there to install and set up the equipment. No one in the USA has the knowledge required to do that. So no, you can't hire people from Georgia to fill in for them. They were there to install and set things up before heading back. But now the workers themselves are saying in Korea that they won't come back, the public feels so insulted by the raid and some of the actions done after that they're calling for a pullout. So no, there are not 475 new job opportunities there.

You'd need to enable that as well. From what I've read from Korean sources, one part of the issue is that US visa orders are so clogged up that it takes a long time to process them and that was made worse in this case because the Trump admin was insisting on a deadline of by the end of the year for this as part of what they'd talked about with SK. And for this sort of stuff, because of the long waits, previous administrations (plural) have been fine with ESTA for this sort of short in-and-out stuff. So if they wanted to stick to the end of the year schedule... They kinda needed those people there now. But no worries, they apparently ain't coming back.
