And they will be looking into his message and spreading it. I saw video of a young lady at the Unite The Kingdom rally in London holding a hand-made sign that read "Charlie Kirk brought me here".

The memes are all or mostly tied to the "Groypers", so it entirely possible that he took the latest "Groyper war" against Kirk/TP USA (with the previous iterations occurring in the late 2010s).

Why would I ask myself? I didn’t assasinate him so I have no idea what the motive could be. Historically, sometimes it’s because they don’t like the person, sometimes they don’t like the movement, sometimes they want to impress Jodie Foster, sometimes they’re just nuts and have no real purpose. Whatever it is, I don’t think the goal was to make people forget Kirk ever existed and have his footprint vanish overnight.

Is this another “I am Charlie Kirk” video? Not since a bunch of celebrities sang “Imagine” during lockdowns have I ever been touched by such a profound performative whatever.

This thing, like all things, brings a lift to a person and their cause. Some out of grief, some out of attention, some just because. I’m not surprised there was a lift. Even a big one. Let’s see what it all means when we get some distance between the assassination and now.

Somehow I doubt in 2074, 49 years from now, when we are locked down during our next pandemic, people will unite by filming a video of themselves saying “I am Charlie Kirk” or “prove me wrong” to help them get through, like they did “Imagine” by the also murdered John Lennon.
