  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He released people who were imprisoned unfairly for years for nothing more than misdemeanors while the leftists across the country released repeat violent offenders with no bail to repeatedly offend.
Please provide proof. No one has been jailed without due process except by Trump.
And only those on the extreme left would call people who show up to an event to protest what they believe was an unfair election “traitors”, while calling the anarchists who destroyed cities across the nation “mostly peaceful”.
So why did Republicans all say that. They all condemned the insurrection. Most changed their rhetoric when they saw Trump telling lies.
I’m not sure you even know the definition of words anymore.
You means like you guys not knowing the definition of "woke?

Most people who are not extremists deny that what happened on Jan 6th was an insurrection. To think otherwise is ludicrous. People showed up to voice their protest, without weapons, and the ONLY people who got killed were a Trump supporter who were shot by the Capitol police who were in no danger from the crowd who was on the other side of a glass door, and a woman who got trampled in the chaos that was started when one of the DC cops shot down into the crowd from above on scaffolding. Those people were really stupid to try to take over the Capitol without weapons. Oh, wait, they were only there to protest.

And the only reason anyone on the right might have said it was an insurrection is because of the vile language the left has used for years to incite violence against the right and were seeking to lower the tone of the vitriol the left was spewing.

I think that you have that backwards. Most people that "are extremist" deny what happened on J6 was an insurrection. The vast majority of Americans know that it was.

All of the Republican law makers said that it was an insurrection.

I’ve seen a lot of people, centrists and on the left but not as extreme as most, walk back their insurrection comments and agree it was just a riot gone bad.

All the courts and many of the J6 era have admitted that it was an insurrection. Some plef guilty to insurrection and others to crimes like beating cops.

It means nothing that you keep repeating that. Partisan courts making partisan decisions on command of a corrupt DoJ is not a surprise. There were, MAYBE, five people who actually committed a crime in all that went into the Capitol that day who were rightly tried and convicted, the rest were invited in as the video evidence shows and should have received nothing more than a warning instead of the years in jail that they spent on misdemeanor charges.

Task force found 'consistent and systematic pattern of discrimination'
I'm glad that has been brought to light. Anti-Christian discrimination is wrong and counter-productive on so many levels. When goodness is silenced evil will flourish more openly. God Bless All :)

Sorry that you don't like facts. A partisan court has nothing to do with a guilty plea negotiated by the defendant and the court. It also has nothing to do with the jury's decision. The J6er' lawyers agreed to the jury selection.

Almost all those arrested were not invited in. They forced their way in and videos confirm that. One door on the left side of the Capital building was opened by guards but only those that damaged offices were charged with crimes, from those.

There was video evidence of all those charged with crimes unless officers witnessed and arrested them on site.

You seem to have no idea how wrong you are. Some people were charged just because they were in Washington that day. Others were charged for walking around taking pictures. And as has already been mentioned, some took plea deals just to get out of being held without charges for over 2 years. Contrasted to the 14 time violent repeat offender that was released without bail each time and ended up killing the Ukrainian refugee in Charlotte last week.

No, justice is not blind.

True since everything I've said is fact. I do know how wrong you are.

That's totally wrong. Anyone charged was at the Capital building. Now, if you have any evidence backing up your false claims, I'd be happy to check them out.
Others were charged for walking around taking pictures.
If they were inside the Capital or within the security barriers, they were trespassing.
And as has already been mentioned, some took plea deals just to get out of being held without charges for over 2 years.
Incorrect, the only ones not booked and released had been had very serious charges.

That guy had serious mental issues. He belonged in a mental hospital but Reagan ended those.
No, justice is not blind.
Yeah, Trump is free while innocent or poor Americans are in jail.
