Hate to nit-pick, but that's not her story. I listened to the podcast. She didn't say anything about not feeling safe. She said her security people were concerned that she'd "rile up Trump's base" (whatever that means).
And we have to take her word for it that any security consultants actually said any such thing.
Even still... I think my point would still apply, there are still more famous, more relevant celebs that are more vocally anti-Trump that are here in the US living their daily lives. So if their presence isn't "riling up the Trump base" in any sort of unique and special way, I fail to see how her presence at a graduation party would.
Oh absolutely. I don't know that Rosie ever suggested violence against the President, but off the top of my head, Robert DeNiro, Johnny Depp, Kathy Griffin, Madonna and Joe Biden did.
