I think we have gotten used to (numb) school shootings.It's sad for the victims, school and people involved .

Three people in critical condition but still, they're lucky that they got shot in the US of A. Because every year around 115K people are shot. That's 1 in 2800-ish. You have to consider the upsides to this. Just think of how adept doctors have gotten at treating gunshot wounds. If you're going to get shot, the best place for it is in a country where every doctor is already an expert at treating gunshot wounds by the time they get out of residency. You wouldn't have 2 out of 3 people survive a gunshot wound if you were in a country where almost no one ever gets shot.

Are we giving in to evil? Far too many people are displaying an evil that I haven't seen before. Evil is running rampant in our inner cities. Evil is using
guns and knives and would most certainly use any other tool available. Something dark is happening in this country. Its almost like Evil is seeing a growth of opposition and is fighting back. The enemy is roaming among us seeking to devour us.

People, it is NOT THE GUNS. It is the people. There is something wrong. Terribly wrong. The heart of man is exceedingly wicked.

Evergreen CO is not a city and the high school is not "in our inner cities" so what are you on about?

This reminds me of what happened at one of my daughter's baseball (pesäpallo) games this last season. Unfortunately, one of her teammates hurt herself, she moved sideways and because the new spikes on her shoes stuck a bit too well to the ground, her leg moved in an awkward manner and her kneecap popped out of place.
Well we called an ambulance and after a while they arrived and helped put it back in place and joked and calmed her a bit, telling her that she was in good hands. They'd just been on another gig, also putting a knee cap back in place so they had a lot of practice and were all warmed up now.

The suspect was identified as 16-year-old Desmond Holly, Jefferson County Sheriff officials said during a press conference on Thursday. An image of the shooter was also released by officials.

Officials determined the weapon was a revolver that was "fired a lot." Shots could be seen fired at windows and lockers, authorities said on Thursday.

While authorities are still looking into the shooter's motive, they believe he was "radicalized by some extremist network," and that he had a "mission," officials said. Authorities said they are trying to better understand that network, and are searching his phone, home and locker to learn more on who he was communicating with before the shooting.

The inevitable conclusion from this logic is that Americans are uniquely more evil than all other people.

This particular problem is uniquely American; and if guns have nothing to do with it, and if it is solely a matter of the human condition, then we must--by necessity--conclude that Americans are uniquely and especially evil.

I fear many young people are growing up lonely and in isolation, with their only form of socialization on the internet....

...and then there's this recent case...wherein someone said something.....

Im talking the big picture. This incident of evil is not isolated. Something is happening in the country. Its a rise of evil. And while the majority of it is happening in our inner cities it's a violence that is rising.

Its not the guns, its the people. We are seeing that the evil within man's heart is leading them to these heinous acts. I don't think we can deny that guns makes it easier for these evil prople to carry out their wicked plans. The gun is the tool they use. The acts start and end with the person. As we have seen evil people will use whatever tool us available, guns, knives, molatove cocktails and vehicles.

1/3 of College students believe its okay to use violence to stop speakers from speaking on campus. There is a rise in acceptance of political violence. Violent radicalism is on the rise. We have fliers with pictures of Charlie Kirk bleeding out that read "Debate This", We have people writing on a wall at a Seattle college "kill all Charlie Kirks".

It sounds like this shooter at the high school was radicalized by something on line.

Ive said it before, the only way to stop people from dying by gun is to remove every gun. I mean every gun, all of them with no exceptions. People were killed with a revolver. Kirk was killed with a bolt action rifle.

But the TRUE problem isnt the gun. You know this.
