What does the God of the creation think about homosexuality? He is very clear on identifying the act of homosexuality as a sin, or should I say an abomination. If an individual sows iniquity, they will reap corruption. Those of us that believe and know the Truth are not careful to say…“There is a pestilence in the land because of ‘homosexual’ activity.” There has been an increase in the acceptance of homosexuality in our country as indicated by the figures collected by the U.S. Census. FEB. 24, 2021 – The U.S. Census Bureau announced the release of a new report that examines characteristics and geographic distribution of the nation’s estimated 980,000 same-sex couple households. The report, “Same-Sex Couple Households: 2019,” is based on 2019 American Community Survey (ACS) 1-year estimates. The ACS is the leading source for community and local-level data. About 58% of couples in the nation’s 980,000 same-sex households were married and about 42% were unmarried partners. Among both married and unmarried same-sex couples, there were more female than male couple households. Eleven states plus the District of Columbia had higher percentages of same-sex couple households (among coupled households) than the national average of 1.5%, with Washington, D.C., having the highest at 7.1%. The San Francisco-Oakland-Berkeley, CA Metropolitan/Micropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), the Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro, OR-WA MSA, and the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA MSA were among metro areas with the highest percentages of same-sex couple households. Both same- and opposite-sex married couple households were more likely than unmarried couple households to have children under 18 present. But same-sex married couple households were about half as likely as opposite-sex married couples to have children.

Even though the masses may accept this let’s see what the Most High God thinks about this subject. We will take a look at the Law first. Once we have established homosexuality as being a sin, then we will look at the Lord’s wrath being poured out because of this abomination.

Let’s go into Leviticus the 20th chapter and read the 13th verse. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

“….they shall surely be put to death...” Being that we are under the new covenant, which are the same laws that were given to Moses, no man is clean enough to put anyone to death, the Lord will take care of that Judgment at his second coming.

Paul says......He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses (Hebrews 10:28.) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31).

For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. (Hebrews 10:26-27)

We must remember brothers and sisters, Moses was on mount Horeb for forty days and forty nights. He received many more laws than the Ten Commandments. For example, there were more laws made between Moses and the Lord that were not classified as one of the ten. Take a look at Deuteronomy 29:1:

These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb. (Deuteronomy 29:1)

Notice what the scripture says, “beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.” We see that other Laws were given to Moses alongside the covenant (Ten Commandments). An individual might say, “Those laws were for the tribes of Israel.” Well, let’s see if the Lords laws only apply to the sons and daughters of Jacob.

Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God. (Leviticus 24:22)

One manner of law for Israel, as well as for the rest of the sons of Adam. Let’s back up to Leviticus the 18th chapter and start at the 22nd verse.

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: (Leviticus 18:22-24)

Note what the scripture says, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Note something else in this set of scriptures. “Defile not yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you.” This statement should have a person shaking in their boots. When the Lord cast out the Canaanites, He sent the children of Israel into these countries to cast these nations out because of sin. The sons of Jacob did not go alone to do battle. His mighty angels went with them as long as they kept themselves from sin. This is not a game sisters and brothers; the God of the creation is serious. When He returns at His second coming He will deal with man face to face. We must keep ourselves from willful sin. But, people try to make excuses for everything that is contrary to the word of God. As seen by modern medicine’s explanation of homosexuality: “With the birth of modern psychiatry, homosexuality came to be viewed widely as less a sin than a sickness. This attitude derived from unscientific research into the origin and nature of homosexuality, unscientific because based solely on studies of maladjusted psychiatric patients. Theories arising from such research suggested that disorders in family relationships, particularly mother-son relationships, give rise to homosexual behavior. Such theories, based on the assumption that homosexuals are necessarily psychologically abnormal, are not convincing. Quote from Grolier multimedia encyclopedia).

The worse of all, they are coming for the church, more and more churches go, 'lets be inclusive' and with homo 'pastors' etc.
This is horrible, and few people are being vocal againt it, those 'churches' will send lots of people to hell and create more confusion.

In light of the fact that homosexuals are often mistreated, I can't help but wonder if early commands against it have more to do with protecting them from said mistreatment. Shielding them from harm. Much suffering might be avoided by remaining celibate or acting straight. On the other hand, there are Christians who seemingly go out of their way to make LGBTQ+ people suffer, which makes it look like Christians are part of the problem. They mostly seem like hypocrites to me because Jesus said we should love or neighbors as we love ourselves. Gay people are counted among our neighbors. At the very least, we could mind our own business.

That said, I don't usually consider it any of my business. I don't experience same sex attraction myself, but I also don't like it when people are harassed or bullied. That part bothers me quite a bit. Especially, when done in the name of Jesus, who I'm reasonably confident would not partake in the bullying.

Last I checked, Christianity isn't a religion of public stonings or other such things. That ended with Christ. We are not under Levitical law. It's about the individual's personal relationship with God. If somebody reads God's word and feels convicted by the holy spirit that being gay is wrong, the change comes from within. A place that they must arrive at of their own free will for it to be meaningful.

Take a look at this verse in the book of James. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (James 1:14-15)

Homosexuality is not an abnormality; it is a result of an individual’s own sexual desires. Once this takes place, what happens? Note what the verse says, “Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” This death is the second death, which is the Lake of Fire.

There's also:

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Romans 1:27
Let's dig in that Romans a little bit more, because Paul mentions men of God that knew the scriptures, but failed to revere the ONLY REVEREND meaning REV. JESUS, the Lord gave them up because of unbelief and allowed them to commit vile acts such as lying with the same sex. Let’s take a look:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (Romans 1:18-21)

Note what the verse says, “Who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” Here we see these men knew the truth but “they glorified him not as God, neither were they thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart were darkened.” They professed themselves to be wise but became fools. Let’s skip down to the 24th verse.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (Romans 1:24-28)

Note what’s being said, “God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. Even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature, men with men working that which is unseemly…” God placed men and women on this earth to be fruitful and to multiply. This isn’t a genetic thing, which suits the taste of the general public. These individuals that call themselves homosexuals simply have unbridled sexual desire that came out of their own imaginations, they were not born that way. Therefore, we have a dreaded plague among us that’s not only devastating the gay community; it’s also spilling over into heterosexual assemblage as indicated by the AIDS crisis that has been mounting in the world.

Since the first AIDS cases were reported in 1981 through mid-1998, more than 665,000 AIDS cases and more than 400,000 deaths have been reported in the United States alone. This is only the tip of the iceberg of HIV infection. It is estimated that nearly 1 million Americans had been infected through the late 1990s but had not yet developed clinical symptoms. AIDS has spread around the world. In 1997 the United Nations announced that it had underestimated the spread of the disease and revised the worldwide estimate of people living with the virus from over 22 million in 1996 to over 30 million in 1997. More than 20 million of these people are in sub-Saharan Africa; 6 million are in Southeast Asia. The AIDS epidemic, which started in the 1980s, has devastated the gay community. (Quote from Grolier multimedia encyclopedia.)

The acceptance of homosexuality is also being spearheaded by today’s modern church.

“….Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” Many leaders of today’s churches have “changed the truth of God into a lie” and have led their congregation in accepting homosexuality as an acceptable practice. Those so-called men and women that announce themselves as ministers of God, and say this behavior has their approval, will have their day in the lake of fire. The occupation of a minister of God is to be a watchman that warns the masses of the wrath to come because of sin. One of the most prevalent lies told by these ministers of Satan is, “come to the Lord as you are.” The Bible is clear on how an individual comes to stand before the Most High God

According to the statement of purpose for this forum, philosophy has to do with why people do what they do and how to live a good life. And ethics has to do with rules people live by.

So, why do people do what is wrong? They are wrong; so they do what is wrong. But, also, it is possible that God will manage wrong people > for one example, we have in Romans 1:18-32 >

There were people who were not "thankful". And so, God let go of them so they gave in to evil desires and emotions driving them to do evil things. They worshiped creature things, instead of worshiping God.

Why?

They were not "thankful". They were not enjoying God in HIs love with His perfect contentment. And so, in their wrong character they were deeply not satisfied, and they were desperate to feel something nicer, of God's creation with the nice pleasures we do have in God's creation.

However, because they were not first seeking God, God let them go into their drives and passions for pleasure. And so they were trapped. Many wrong people are trapped in their pleasure seeking.

Their preference was not for God, but for pleasure. There are many ways people pursue their preference for pleasure. Because there are many who are not "content with such things as you have" (in Hebrews 13:5).

And, often enough, ones seek pleasure which is wrong. And so, they are not in the Holy Spirit, but they are driven by "the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience" (in Ephesians 2:2). This evil spirit of Satan works very hard > those lusts work hard to drive people the wrong way. And by going after what is not of God's Holy Spirit, they are guaranteeing themselves that they can not ever be deeply satisfied, and their pursuing will be endless, and nothing can work to help this, of their own ability.

Only God is able to get us out of this trap of not being content and trying to get relief from physical pleasure and physical arrangements.

Many people stay deeply weak so they can keep being controlled by their desperate desires for pleasure and control for security.

**Their selfish pleasure seeking begins at home, where they did not learn how to love.**

But they used arguing and complaining and lying and fighting in order to get pleasures, instead of learning how to live in Jesus Christ's love. And they have gotten worse and worse in beauty discrimination which has them evaluating people by what they look like and how charming they act and talk. And we are seeing which way their marriages have gone because they were not brought up to know how to love and how to evaluate who they marry.

And children of such marriages can be so desperate to feel something nicer than their own deep emotional trouble. They fool themselves into thinking they need pleasure and human ability to solve their problems. And we see what is happening to these products of their parents. Meanwhile, parents can be so busy with criticizing how their children are making choices, not dealing with how the parents themselves did not provide their children with an example of how to relate in a close relationship >

"without complaining and disputing" > in Philippians 2:13-16.

"content with such things as you have" > in Hebrews 13:5.

"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

"submitting to one another in the fear of God." (Ephesians 5:21)

"swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God." (in James 1:19-20)

"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)

"nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3)

And pray with hope for any wrong people, at all > love "hopes all things" (in 1 Corinthians 13:7) >

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

James 5:17
Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years.

Acts 19:13-16
Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

how many pastors can cast out the demon's that is within homosexual people?

Psalm 12:1-2
Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts.

I have a traditional view of sexual ethics. Some people, through no fault their own, have same-sex desires. Regardless, any sexual activity outside the context of one man and one woman in holy matrimony, is immensely sinful and offends God.

That's why I think the correct response is compassion. And not in a patronizing way. If we want them to see God as a refuge rather than as a bully, I think that starts with treating them like Jesus instructs us to treat our neighbors.

I have a traditional view of sexual ethics. Some people, through no fault their own, have same-sex desires. Regardless, any sexual activity outside the context of one man and one woman in holy matrimony, is immensely sinful and offends God.

***the morality of homosexuality may not be discussed per the forum rules****
I as well. I have a family member who is gay, and I pray for her daily.

That's why II think the correct response is compassion. And not in a patronizing way. If we want them to see God as a refuge rather than as a bully, I think that starts with treating them like Jesus instructs us to treat our neighbors.
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for men stealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; (I Timothy 1:9-10)

Note what Paul says, “Knowing this that the law is not made for a righteous man.” Why, because a righteous man or woman are keeping the law. The law is for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for men stealers, for liars, for perjured persons…” What will be the consequences for committing these acts of sin? Take note,

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15) Those that are written in the Book of Life use the Law lawfully.

This is the time for people to make a change in there lives if need be. If you above ground, make that change, because Jesus is not coming back with compassion. Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (II Thessalonians 1:6-9)

Absolutely. John 3:16 applies to us all, so none of us can think of ourselves as better than anyone else. I think that homosexuals have problems which the rest of us don't face and it must be extra difficult for them to repent, as it seems like having to give up any chance of marriage and lifelong companionship. It isn't, as God is a miracle worker who can change people's desires. If they turn to Him I believe that He will meet their emotional needs, but in wholesome ways. They need to repent though, just as we had to repent of whatever our sins were.

The worse of all, they are coming for the church, more and more churches go, 'lets be inclusive' and with homo 'pastors' etc.
This is horrible, and few people are being vocal againt it, those 'churches' will send lots of people to hell and create more confusion.
Are the pastors practising? Does the church believe that an active homosexual lifestyle is okay? If the answer is 'yes' to either question then that is extremely worrying. (If they are non-practising, or have repented, and are preaching the true gospel then that is different.)
