There's that possible reason...

However, there's also another explanation that may co-exist for that.

People who are control freaks and people with some narcissistic tendencies (which I think it's safe to say he's a little of column A and a little of column B) often avoid alcohol as well, out of fear that they may "lose control" or a fear that being in an inebriated state could make them look bad and impact how people view them.
I wasn’t aware of that at all. That’s actually quite interesting.

I’m sure Trump is well aware many people don’t like him. That’s why he gets so angry when others criticize him. But, I don’t live inside his head so I really don’t know for sure.

Right, but there's a difference between "rivals" (whose opinions they don't value) not liking a person, and their own ardent supporters losing respect for them from seeing them inebriated.

I had a former boss who like that...would refuse to "let his hair down" (even at office parties) out of fear that someone may not view him as "in complete control of all things, at all times"

There was no reason to question Biden's health. Please stay on topic.
I disagree! It is relevant to point out the hypocrisy in questioning the health and cognitive abilities of Trump.

Wow. Just. Wow.

I’m speechless.

No reason? Really? REALLY?

He didn’t run again for a reason. His health was the reason.

That said, I wish him the VERY best.

God bless him.

I can see why people can question the health of BOTH.

This thread discusses evidence that Trump may have had a stroke. Not conclusive obviously, but supporters were caught using old photos from earlier in the year to "prove" he's out golfing, and actual recent footage shows a variety of physical ailments.

The man is not young.

79 is young? No! He is well on in years.

As someone gets older, health issues are expected.

Regardless, he won't be president forever.

I can only wish him the best, even if I do NOT like his personality, nonetheless.

I'm not saying I buy into that 100%. But there is smoke, and it seems like there is a decent chance they're covering up a fire of some kind, even if it's not a stroke.
Trump is NOT young.

One of my favorite authors, Anne Rice, died at age 80 from a stroke even though she didn't have any other major health issues.

Not to go off topic, but older people tend to have other health issues as they age.

It's no "surprise."

Age is NOT "just a number."

The thing is several non Trump supporter doctors have concurred with the diagnosis for Trump's hand bruise and swollen ankles. I've yet to see anything from a doctor speculating that it's anything else than what Trump's doctor says it is.

If anyone can produce statements from a doctor saying he thinks Trump has some serious ailment or has had a stroke, that would add a lot more credence to the notion. So far there's just been speculation from story writers who have have no medical training.

All of this Trump is in really bad shape hype would make sense if he was running for a second term.
It's relevant either way.
Or is the hype over hoping that Vance will take his place?
Who's making the decisions in the White House?

Why the fake photos? Why is the press being kept at a distance? Why the past bruises on his left hand, if he doesn't shake hands with that one?

I believe the author consulted doctors. But it's interesting that no diagnosis was necessary when discussing Biden, but now it's a different story.

Which non-Trump supporter doctors have concurred - by name if you know. The venous insufficiency, maybe, but the deep purple bruising being caused by vigorous handshaking? You'll need evidence to back up that claim.
