CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What exactly is the intent or thing you're looking to prove with this thread?
You being someone who was a staunch defender of Biden (against any an all accusations that he may have lost a step or two -- despite all visual evidence to the contrary)... you're not playing the "ailments of the aged makes them unfit for office" card, are you?? Because that would be a massive reversal of your previous positions on such matters.

I personally don’t think the bruising means much either, but I also don’t think my example of “see, everything is fine!” would be symptoms displayed by a person two days before they died of non-specific age-related cardiovascular failure.

Trump says he's in good health. And so does the US Navy physician who examines him. The only thing that hasn't been published are lab work numbers like his red blood cell count and such. But since Dr. Barbabella states in writing that President Trump remains in excellent health, the numbers must be alright.

Trump seems to be in very poor health, physically and cognitively. It may be time for him to retire or it may be a temporary spate of bad health. We remain vigilante - he is the president and his health matters.

This is a ridiculous assertion. Point me to a post where you were equally as concerned about Biden’s physical and cognitive abilities and I will apologize for this post. There is no reasonable comparison on these issues to Trump and Biden.

If that's a position someone holds consistently, then they'll get no objections from me.
I've been sounding the "we need to stop electing geriatrics who are nearing the age of the Average US Lifespan" alarm for quite some time.
I'd cap the "maximum age to run for POTUS" at 65 so even if they served two terms, 73 would be the oldest age we'd have to worry about.
The ones who I object to are the ones who are gas lighting and have followed the Jake Tapper/Joe Scarborough approach...
Where it was "there's no evidence of decline, he just had a stutter, this is best version of Biden we've ever seen" (as the poor old guy was wandering around the stage like a Roomba trying to find its charging station)... and then pivoted to cashing in by writing books about Biden's decline, and pretending to have grave concerns about the idea of a POTUS having some age-related health issues.

Which claim is ridiculous as there are several? That Biden is more physically fit than Trump? That Biden can ride a bike and Trump can't?
