I looked it up myself, it turned out to be the FBI, my highlighting:

"During a Dec. 1, 2022 traffic stop by a Tennessee Highway Patrol officer, Abrego García was found to be transporting eight passengers across the country, sources told the Tennessee Star. He allegedly did not have a valid driver’s license and was suspected of trafficking the passengers but was let go at the request of the Federal Bureau of Investigation."

This does confirm FBI was contacted during the traffic stop but gives no reason why they requested THP let everyone in the car go. The FBI is not “Biden people” by the way.

They were under his administration. Why do you think Biden people claimed the border was safe, secure, and closed? How many out of state U.S. citizens would be let go without a citation for not having a driver's license?

Do you think everyone in the FBI waits for the President’s approval before acting?

A citation is a state thing. If the FBI wasn’t interested, they could have still given the citation.

The president sets the policy. Yes, the state troopers could have given him a citation for speeding and having no driver's license. In fact my point was that typically they would give at least one citation. They didn't pull him over for human trafficking, they recognized a human trafficking situation.

... perhaps you can cite how your claims held up in court.

It seems like he needs to be protected from Trump and Trump's people.

We all do. This country is going down in flames, and Trump plays the fiddle.

Didn’t the local/state cops call the FBI who told them that the Feds weren‘t interested?
Maybe the LEOs on the ground decided that the guy wasn't worth their time?

What was the story he gave the police about who they were, where they were going, and why?

Hopefully this soon will be the end of a waste of U.S. taxpayer money.
The facts:

A U.S. magistrate judge ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia's release from the Tennessee jail. The release came with several conditions, including home detention with his brother in Maryland, electronic monitoring, and limitations on when he can leave the home. The judge had previously determined he was not a flight risk or a danger to the community. He was released without bail. His court date is set for January 2027.
Now the Federal government wants to deport him without due process. A judge has ruled that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) must provide his lawyers with 72 hours' notice before any deportation attempt, allowing them to legally challenge the action. A notice has already been filed stating the government's intent to deport him to Uganda.

Now who is in the wrong?

Let us reason, please.

He has had his due process through many many courts. Courts clearly are in the wrong to try and usurp the power of the presidency.

Law enforcement officers are sworn to uphold the law. An speeding unlicensed driver is a danger to the public and should have at least received a citation. No more two-tiered just system where illegals are treated better than citizens.

It's only clear in your mind. Many of us still want a country where the judiciary protects the rights of all.

...and the choice he has:
- Plead guilty to crimes he didn't do and a free life in Costa Rica or off to Uganda you go.....that's straight up coerrcion.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Immigration officials said they intend to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Uganda after he declined an offer to be sent to Costa Rica in exchange for remaining in jail and pleading guilty to human smuggling charges, his defense attorneys told a court Saturday.

....“the government informed Mr. Abrego that he has until first thing Monday morning — precisely when he must report to ICE’s Baltimore Field Office — to accept a plea in exchange for deportation to Costa Rica, or else that offer will be off the table forever,” his defense attorneys wrote.

The Biden administration grab for power violated the rights of American citizens, resulting in hundreds of thousands of victims of human trafficking and violent crime. No judge is going to be allowed to take away our rights.

Okay, but why is any of that the “fault” of Mister Garcia?
