As much as you would like it to be - no it is not - as already linked and shown it is the response to a continuing problem. As hard a fact as that is to swallow - it is a fact. The thread is exploiting a single crime in Washington D.C. As tragic as the event was, it's an every day reality in cities across our country...no matter their red or blue status.
That same Consitituion gave the President of the United States the authority to activate the National Guard - and not even the farthest left Democrat is arguing that fact -The writers of our Consitution, having seen the abuses of an English king, were quite wary of establishing a standing army that could be used by future leaders against the citizens.
Their authorizing the President as commander in Chief to act is just as warranted. President Trump is not breaking the law - nor the Constitution - he is acting within his authority to bring in the National Guard to assist police, who are 700 officers short after the Democratic Mayor slashed funding for the police department. Another series of actual facts already shown and linkedTheir caution was warranted as today, we see a president deploying the National Guard without any justification.
Seeing my brother and sisters in the military bring a sense of security - I served. They are no threat to anyone but those wishing to do harm. That is the America I served. Is this the America you want? Museums, subways and street corners maned by soldiers wearing combat fatigues?
What you call combat fatigues and other dramatic words are what we called BDU's - What should on duty soldiers wear?
