Here's the latest information from TRAC as of August 10, 2025.

41,822 out of 59,380—or 70.4% held in ICE detention have no criminal conviction according to data current as of August 10, 2025. Many of those convicted committed only minor offenses, including traffic violations.

According to court records, only 1.55% of FY 2025 new cases sought deportation orders based on any alleged criminal activity of the immigrant, apart from possible illegal entry.

He was summoned for a citizenship interview, but was instead taken into custody. The fact that you find his opinions distasteful isn't relevant.

Have we abandoned the principle of "innocent until proven guilty"? Being charged with a crime is not the same as being convicted of a crime.

That's what they've been doing; except under the last Administration, they weren't even being deported; and some Liberal judges were putting these predators right back out on the streets with no cash bail.
