Well that’s confusing. Why did ABC news then settled with Trump for $15m for saying that Trump had been found liable for rape?
“ABC News has agreed to pay $15m (£12m) to US President-elect Donald Trump to settle a defamation lawsuit after its star anchor falsely said he had been found "liable for rape".
George Stephanopoulos made the statements repeatedly during an interview on 10 March this year while challenging a congresswoman about her support for Trump.
A jury in a civil case last year determined Trump was liable for "sexual abuse", which has a specific definition under New York law.
As part of Saturday's settlement, first reported by Fox News Digital, ABC also published an editor's note expressing its "regret" for the statements by Stephanopoulos.”

I think it was as mistake to settle. Their parent company, Disney, apparently thought it was preferable to the publicity of a drawn-out lawsuit. Trump usually loses when it actually goes to court, and then complains about activist judges, whatever that is.

It’s not my place nor yours to know that. I am only engaging in this line of conversation to give you opportunity to rant against Trump. Did you concern yourself with Biden or Obama’s salvation? I highly doubt it . Trump’s salvation or lack there of has absolutely nothing to do with the fact God is using him.

No one else can find that he's repented, either. So there he is.
I pray for them, too. But neither of them announced that they don't need to ask God for forgiveness. Which is a significant difference for a Christian.
I suppose God used Herod and Pontius Pilate. But I wouldn't have helped Herod kill children or helped Pilate crucify Jesus.

It is a sad fact but true that many people rely on works for their salvation. Trumps apparent lack of understanding on scriptural salvation in no way means God did not choose him for this moment in time. It is my belief and prayer that the Holy Spirit is working on Trump. One thing I am sure of is that God has not kicked Trump to the curb like many on this forum.

God loves all of us, even the most corrupted and degenerate of us. When He "kicks us to the curb" it's for a reason, that usually has to do with our salvation.
Even when they think they are winning, evil people are serving God's purposes. God plays the long game with history. As in the case of Saul, weak and/or evil rulers are often a way He calls a nation to repentance.

Yeah, the Air Force base is in SE. While I was stationed there, a woman shot right in front of the Base Exchange (a military store like a Target). It turned out she was hit by a stray round from a gang fight that occurred in an apartment complex on high ground outside the base.
I was also mugged at gunpoint twice in 72 hours just outside the base. The second time, the mugger pushed the barrel of the gun into my right kidney and pulled the trigger...but the gun jammed. He cursed it and ran off with my wallet. I sat down and reflected on my life for a while.
