President Trump negotiated seven peace deals. This is a notable diplomatic achievement. Thank you Mr. President.

There ya go - no President has ever done than and it is laudable
You are perfectly free to do that - there is no regulation for anyone to support or denegrate a political figure - the choice is yours. But the other side of the equation, others are just as free to voice their opinion on how wrong they think you are.
If you state a strong opinion, don't get all in a tizzy when someone states strong opposition.
A successful debate is an intelligent pro and con exchange using facts and well thought out opinions. The moment we liken a political person to Hitler, or a genocidal maniac - mutual exchange of infomration ends. It not only is non productive, but counter productive and IMHO show an extreme weakness and immaturity on the side that does it.

Given the history of Presidential Nobel prizes for peace.
Where of all people George (war of choice) Bush was nominated.
Specially since most actions of peace were just temporary cease fires.
Specially now with the politicization of the nomination used as a tool for favor.
They may as well start giving out little league participation prizes.

And now - Our President is in Alaska meeting with Putin - who would not even answer the phone when Biden tried to contact him. After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, direct communication between the two leaders ceased. Then we voted in a new President and they are meeting face to face.

Thats because Putin knows Trump is pliable with sweet talk and ego strokings. Not to mention cash deals - which may pertain to the one on one no-aides meetup, if that happens again. Trump talks big, but deep down he's extremely needy.
Look how credulous and subservient Trump looked last time they did this. If it was just embarrassing I wouldnt be worried. But the stakes are higher than that.

As Putin bombed Ukranian cities last night....again. And why would Putin show any restraint? After all, Trump threatened sever sanctions if a cease fire was not implemented by last week. Empty threats.

Selling advanced weaponry to Europe and Ukraine - threatening and enforcing tariffs on nations that do business with Russia all effect what is happening - all are expressions of strength. Russia is economically failing and taking their ability to create income strangles any aggression.
It's called peace through power. Better than being a warmonger and putting American boots on the ground.

Punishing India with a 50% tariff means Trump is not willing to carry out the promised sanctions if Putin didn't agree to a cease fire.
Events on the ground demonstrate otherwise.
Putin sees a president who will not carry through on his threats. There will never be a peace deal so long as Putin can manipulate the POTUS and continue his war with out cosequences.
