It's declined a little, but it's still pretty bad.How is a declining crime rate "an emergency?"
Let's take another look...It's declined a little,
Based on what they do to hotels they're given to live in, lot of them would probably end up getting evicted. Those who are too unstable due to mental illness and or drugs aren't going to be able to maintain housing. Those aren't dealing with these problems.
No, folks need affordable housing. Wouldn't it have been great if Trump had decided to house these folks?
They got caught for lying about it, mostly. As Nixon remarked, it's always the cover-up that gets you. But not entirely. Would you like me to show you again? No he didn't. No one was charged with being a traitor or actually colluding with Russia to influence the election.
If you were looking for tax evaders, I guess the FBI guys after Al Capone were a success. But they got him. Unfortunately for Capone, there wasn't a president who was willing to pardon him, so unlike Trump's underlings, he stayed in prision.I suppose if you were looking for liars ir fraudsters Russiagate was a success.
Almost like the MAGA insurrection on Jan 6. Without the attacks on police officers, that is.Based on what they do to hotels they're given to live in, lot of them would probably end up getting evicted. Those who are too unstable due to mental illness and or drugs aren't going to be able to maintain housing.

What's it at now though? How many cars have been broken into? How many houses have been burglarized? How many stores have been robbed? How many car thefts and carjackings? How many people have been assaulted? How much drug dealing is going on? How many crack houses and meth labs are there? On a scale of 1 to 10 how safe is DC according to most residents and business owners? How is a declining crime rate "an emergency?"
Let's take another look...

I would think a 50% drop in about 25 years is more than "a little."

Full list of America's most dangerous cities as Trump cracks down on D.C.
Trump has indicated he could "go further" in his actions to address crime, though violent crime has dropped recently.www.newsweek.com
But it's "an emergency." So far, all attempts to deflect from Trump's involvement with Epstein have failed. Something had to be done. This one is just the latest of many attempts.

Examples of worse than doesn't necessarily equal the place is okay. But this is really only about being anti anything Trump does isn't it? It doesn't matter whatever it is, it absolutely must be seen and very very bad and evil. So there's no point in even discussing it. We get it it, every single thing Trump does is wrong and evil.
Yeah, it just shows that Trump's "emergency" has more to do with a desperate search for deflection from his Epstein problems.Examples of worse than doesn't necessarily equal the place is okay.
It actually doesn't matter. In a weird way, this just keeps the Epstein problem front and center for him.But this is really only about being anti anything Trump does isn't it?
It's funny how you guys always end up saying terrible things about Trump and hoping someone else will take ownership. You misunderstand the nature of evil. Even evil people don't get up in the morning and consider how to so more evil that day.It doesn't matter whatever it is, it absolutely must be seen and very very bad and evil. Given a 50% drop in serious crime in D.C. over the past 2 decades, one smart move might be to study what D.C. police have been doing, and get cities with higher crime rates to do it as well. I'm pretty sure it doesn't involve National Guard troops occupying the Lincoln Memorial, or charging some idiot with a felony for tossing a subway sandwich at someone. All of those issues can be addressed with increased policing.
I think I called it right more or less and so there's just no point in discussing it. And everything and anything imaginable is a distraction from Epstein. I read that umpteen times a day going though threads. I'll bet "Epstein" has been written at least a thousand times in the last 30 days on CF. I wouldn't be surprised if some folks mutter it in their sleep all night long.Yeah, it just shows that Trump's "emergency" has more to do with a desperate search for deflection from his Epstein problems.

No they didnt. No one was charged with lying about colluding with Russia to interfere with the election. They got caught for lying about it,
You never showed me one person charged with colluding with the Russians to influence the election. But not entirely. Would you like me to show you again?
Well thats what is being done. But, but, but.....
All of those issues can be addressed with increased policing.
There is *no emergency* to justify Trump's actions in D.C.
For some folks there's absolutely nothing on earth that justifies Trump's actions regarding anything. But, but, but.....
All of those issues can be addressed with increased policing.
There is *no emergency* to justify Trump's actions in D.C.
One more for you...You never showed me one person charged with colluding with the Russians to influence the election.
And millions of times by Americans.I'll bet "Epstein" has been written at least a thousand times in the last 30 days on CF.
I get it, it's the only card the DNC has left to play on their sinking ship. And millions of times by Americans.
AMHERST, Mass. —
Nearly everyone in the country is aware of the Jeffrey Epstein case, and more than half of those who are believe that President Donald Trump is concealing information about the case, according to the results of a new national poll.
