They (you figure out who) tried to murder him at least twice probably more, but the God of the universe spared him, (there, I've said it again) . The failures of the previous occupant was also a major factor in Trump being elected. Sure he is at times entertaining but that was no factor in his re-election.

That's already been answered but I will do it again. Because Trump can legally do it and he will clean up the mess liberal policies have created. DC is is not the same as any other city. It at one time was under Federal control.The Home Rule Act of 1973 gave limited control to have its own Mayor and council BUT congress still has power to overturn local laws. Comparing DC to other cities is not comparing apples to apples. The president can declare an emergency and take control temporarily and he did what was legal for him to do.

He's now claiming that the steep drop in crime in Washington D.C. over the past years means there's an emergency.
