Why would I think that the 22nd Amendment doesn't mean what it clearly states. I'm not amused by Trump's toying with violating it.

Well, Trump says he's not seriously intending to run for a third term (however he imagines he might be able to accomplish that), but if there's one thing we know about Donald Trump, it's that he lies. Like, a lot.
What, he's going to run against Biden? Another poster in this thread compared Biden's mental acuity to Trump's and said Trump lacked 75% of Biden's capability. She has some sort of psychiatry degree I guess and has examined both of them apparently, and might have violated HIPAA regulations revealing that information if it did not have the consent of both presidents.
I doubt it.

We'll have to see on that front. There are some democrats sniffing around and considering a candidacy, but none have committed to it yet. But it's still early days.

If he'd been asked about a third term and said something along the lines of: 'Well, I guess that I could float that idea and get some merch out there to sucker the MAGA base to pass over some more cash' then I'd be surprised...that he had a sense of humour. It would actually be funny. But to actually make the merch? And actually float the idea?
