At this point it is the correct and humanitarian thing to do.
Was the bombing and deliberate starving campaign for over a year also the humanitarian thing to do?

Israeli supporters concerned about the humanitarian thing to do at this?

What a weird take.

Then Netanyahu should also be barred from governing Gaza.
You need to read the article. The action is temporary designed to install an Arab government to fully displace Hamas.

Is it now lol it would be if it didn’t follow but it does follow particularly since you continue to make sensational accusations for incendiary purposes. It reads like a bad tabloid.

Israel is trying to get back their hostages and is in a war against Hamas, Hamas hides in tunnels. The humanitarian thing to do is to rescue the hostages before they are starved to death. Hamas has been stealing food Israel brings in for the civilians. They should be condemned for their actions. There certainly is no starvation campaign by Israel.

The most telling thing is that the IDF leadership is against the plan.

Israeli security cabinet members shouted at the country’s military chief during a meeting about Israel’s plans for Gaza that lasted nearly 10 hours, an Israeli political official said.

CNN had previously reported that Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir warned the security cabinet of the dangers of a takeover of Gaza City, including worsening the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the international implications of such an escalation of the war.

The approved plan is somewhat narrower than a full takeover of the entire enclave, focusing only on Gaza City and excluding surrounding camps. But it still entails the forced evacuation of nearly half of the territory’s population. Israel’s military already controls 75% of Gaza.

The 'plan' is to make a million people leave their homes and go find a piece of rubble to live under?

Let us reason. The Arab states want a two state solution. Over 60% of the West Bank is controlled by Israel leaving a tiny area for the Palestinian Authoritiy which Netanyahu has rejected as the potential Arab government. This Prime Minister is projecting a fanciful scenario, for now.

What I made was an "analogy". It is not an accusation.

Ask Hamas...they are the ones starving their own people. 88% of aid is stolen by Hamas and then resold for a huge profit on the black market.

I wouldn't...under Israeli control Gaza was a paradise...under the PLO and then Hamas it became a terrorist sewer.

Hamas has already said that if the IDF gets close to the hostages, they will kill them.

I get it but I don’t see how Hamas should continue to head the government of Gaza.

Almost 9 in 10 aid trucks looted before reaching Gaza destinations, UN figures show

Majority are overrun by ‘starving, desperate people,’ not Hamas or other armed groups, UN staffer tells ToI, adding problem didn’t exist during January truce, when aid was sufficient

Since the May resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza after a two-month Israeli blockade, a total of 2,604 aid trucks have been collected by the UN. Of those, 2,309 — 88% — did not reach their intended destinations inside the Strip, according to the United Nations Office for Project Services.

According to the organization, this was due to the trucks being “intercepted either peacefully by hungry people or forcefully by armed actors during transit in Gaza.”

Olga Cherevko from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs clarified to The Times of Israel that the vast majority of looting is being carried out by hungry Gazans, not by armed gangs.

“The long-standing restrictions on the entry of aid have created an unpredictable environment where there is a lack of confidence by the communities that aid will reach them,” she said.

“This has resulted in many of our convoys offloaded directly by starving, desperate people as they continue to face deep levels of hunger and are struggling to feed their families,”
