“Michel Jordan Castellano Fonseca, a criminal illegal alien with ties to TDA, was released into our country by the Biden Administration in 2023. On Sunday, this monster shot two women, killing one, in front of five innocent children,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Aurora, Colorado—a sanctuary city—has given cover to Tren de Aragua gang members to terrorize our communities."

How many more must die before people quit giving the criminals sanctuary?

And it only took ICE rounding up and deporting hundreds with clean records to find this guy.
That's as inhumane as Israel's starving 3 million Gaza civilians, half children, to.find 30,000 members of Hamas.
ICE overreach? Inexcusable.
Israeli genocide? Inexcusable.

As Tom Homan has recently stated, 70% arrested are criminals. As to the other 30%, many are national security threats. That being said, as has been stated time and time again, when they find other illegals they will take them into custody and deport them. Also, as Democrats were told, if you offer sanctuary and don't let your local law enforcement cooperate, wider sweeps will be necessary and more will be deported. And when someone missed a court date for a hearing and the judge puts out a warrant, ICE is required to arrest that person. That is the government system we have, it is not the choice of a law enforcement agency to let people go and disobey a court order. Israel is not starving 3 million Gazans, please don't repeat Hamas propaganda. Israel has acted in a more merciful manner than any other country on earth who was attacked in such a manner. What is lacking is charity from those who support Gaza, very few are willing to take in Gazans.

As Tom Homan has recently stated, 70% arrested are criminals.
He may have stated it, but it's not true, as even ICE data show.

Even under that looser definition of 'criminal' where innocence is not presumed, the total is barely 50%. And for the most part, these are not 'dangerous' criminals.

It is also worth noting that these statistics did not break down who is considered a "dangerous criminal" compared with those accused of minor crimes. However, ICE also issues threat levels to detainees based on their criminal convictions and charges (see Page 6 of the agency's classification system standards). As first reported by the AP and independently verified by Snopes, ICE facility data as of June 23, 2025, showed that 84.1% of people detained at 201 facilities nationwide were given no threat level (see "Facilities FY25" after downloading the data for threat levels).

Of the 47,238 people in these facilities, ICE gave 7,511 a threat level. Officials graded 7.1% of detainees as a level 1 threat — which "may include detainees with minor criminal histories and non-violent felony charges and convictions." An additional 3.8% were given a level 2 threat, which "may not include any detainee with a history or pattern of violent assaults" (Page 5). Finally, 4.9% were classified as a level 3 threat — the highest classification.

As to the other 30%, many are national security threats.
Rubbish.
And when someone missed a court date for a hearing and the judge puts out a warrant, ICE is required to arrest that person.
Sure, but what we're seeing now is ICE waiting outside courtrooms where someone attended their court date.

ICE didn't find him. Local police found him after he committed a crime (as is their job).

If you don't believe him call up a left-wing news network and ask them to put Homan on as a guest and confront him with the numbers. I know the left is trying to paint a lot of arrested people as a non-threat. While an illegal convicted of a DUI many not be a threat in your book in fact he or she is a danger to the community. Realize that a lot of the illegals were brought in during the recent Biden administration and their pending criminal charges may not have been processed by the courts. The pending charges of rape, murder, and assault are enough reason to get these criminals removed from the country. Think of their victims, not about future votes.

Shouldn't their victims be granted Justice in the form of a trial and conviction? Why deport them with no punishment?

Their own countries can take care of that.

Sad if it's true. I mean after all, this is the Trump admin.

"Do", or "Do not", are pretty much the same, right borderleader Homan?

Ah, Associated Press. They have their problems. I worked for a long time with an AP Bureau Chief on a story. He kept crucial information out of a long story--not even a mention. I asked him why over the phone--dead silence. They are very much establishment. Homan stated he checks the data every day.

Does Leader Homan keep his lies fresh? I'm not sure your point. Mine wasn't about him not being regularly informed of the data.

CBS examined the documentation:

"Of the estimated 100,000 people who were deported between January 1 and June 24 by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, 70,583 were convicted criminals, according to an ICE document obtained by CBS News. However, the data also shows that most of the documented infractions were traffic or immigration offenses."

To be "convicted" means you either plead guilty or have been found guilty.

Homan's allegations differ from every accurate stat I've seen.
The biggest threat to our national security lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

I even posted a story about the CBS review of the document, and CBS is no friend of the administration. That is two independent sources.

CBS notes it was mostly traffic infractions and immigration violations. This is going back to 'they're all automatically criminals' methods of counting.

Wait, wait. I seem to recall some objection a while back to someone being labeled a "convicted felon" before being sentenced for the crime they had already been found guilty of in court. Has that standard changed now?

Tom Homan was telling the truth. We're not going to go down the road of DUI and missing a court date aren't really crime crimes. Liberal media outlets should have told the truth in the first place. When they have no ammunition it's back to fake news.

If you knew you were showing up for your court date after following all the rules and paying all the fees to get your green card and ICE would cart you off to meet their quota you'd be scared too.
ICE agents have replaced used car salesmen as the most untrustworthy people in America (well, next to the members of thiscafministration, of course.)
