Pope says hey To you!

Made it to the General Audience today. I’ll write more about it….and everything else when I return next week, but here are the basics:

No tickets required for General Audiences in August. Everyone goes on vacation, no one wants to be bothered with the paperwork, I guess.

Got there early to get a good seat near a railing. I have to say that in this heat I was not at all envious of the special folks who sit up in the special sections with the Pope – including greeting time, they were up there for at least three hours, with no shade. The newlyweds even more, since they are greeted last. When I walked any at 12:30, the Holy Father was still going strong, greeting those couples.
