Top Trump administration officials will gather at the vice president’s residence Wednesday evening as they continue to weigh whether to publish an audio recording and transcript of Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s recent conversation with Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.

The administration’s handling of the Epstein case, as well as the need to craft a unified response, is expected to be a main focus of the dinner, three sources familiar with the meeting told CNN. Can someone please tell me why DOJ officials are meeting with Trump officials to figure out a Epstein/Maxwell strategy?

Could you imagine if Merrick Garland and Chris Wray were meeting with Kamala Harris to figure out a Hunter Biden strategy?

William Martin, Vance’s communications director, denied CNN’s reporting in a statement: “As we’ve said publicly, there was never a supposed meeting scheduled at the Vice President’s residence to discuss Epstein Strategy. Any reporting to the contrary is false.”

LOL, yes if there is any admin who should be taken seriously when making denial statements, it's the Trump admin. They don't even try to even portray even a hint of impartiality between them and the Justice Department. We still don't know why Maxwell was moved from the Florida prison to a minimal security prison that no with the charges she had would never be placed. Who did she meet with in Florida prior? The DOJ's number two and Trump's personal lawyer slated to be at that meeting in question who, who knows, is probably still on Trump's retainer.

The alleged meeting is somewhat less troublesome than the very close relationship between the president and the compromised Attorney General....who clearly is carrying out Trump's promised revenge campaign.

There is no Jeff Sessions or Bill Bar to push back on his agenda.

Trump is free to exercise the vast power of the DOJ to prosecute whomever has hurt his feelings in the past.

When one news source reports on something, the others get in on it. In my experience usually it's "First reported by the Washington Post". And then when I check the original WP story it's usually something like "An anonymous source told the Washington Post that..."
