Well, clearly with President Trump who is getting ready to strike Iran. And with anyone else who has had it out for Iran since the overthrow of the shah, the arming of the houthis, the arming of Hamas and Hezbollah, the arming of Syria, the arming of Russia, since the October attack etc. Many have been waiting for this moment for decades.

Now, Iran has lost Syria. Hamas and Hezbollah have been battered. It's air defenses are largely innefective since Israel began its attacks. Russia is largely tied up in Ukraine. It's long range missiles stockpile is drawn down.

Iran is arguably defenseless (at least in the skies).

Given the history of irans nuclear weapons programs. And given the US history of invasions, you tell me what's coming.
I do not claim to know what is coming. I leave that to those with much greater knowledge of the area then I. I just find the idea that we are somehow better off with no arrangement rather then a subpar arrangement an odd idea.

I think you would agree that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon.

I would very strongly agree with that statement. I think the less weapons in the hands of people who might actually use them the better for all of us.

Well. If no arrangement involves stopping the development of nuclear weapons, it might be the better option. Or so many will gamble.

Iran denies having a nuclear weapons program. Yet project Amad was widely accepted and verified to have existed by organizations like the IAEA through review of Mossad released files. All major Western powers acknowledged and affirmed it's existence as well.

Yet Iran still denies it. Their government simply can't be trusted on the matter. And now, with proliferation to 60%, there is no hiding it. They're making a dash for nuclear weapons.

And maybe they feel like it is the only way to defend themselves. But regardless of the reasons, a theocracy like Iran (widely acknowledged as oppressive in an assortment of ways, known to arm and fund radical militias throughout the middle east) with weapons that could annihilate its neighbors in an instant, is debatably worth the fight.

Not saying Iranians are bad people. But nuclear proliferation should concern just about everyone.

I dunno. If we agree every nation has the right to self determination is saying Iran cannot have nukes the same as saying an aggressive unstable American cannot buy a gun?

Then why shouldn't Iran have nukes? Their enemies have them already.
Decades of killing Americans by supporting multiple terrorist groups , decades of shouting death to America and Israel. Radical Islam with a goal of world domination. How many reasons do you need and just exactly why are you sympathetic to an evil regime?

Tell me why the U.S. gets to decide (unilaterally) which nations are “allowed” to try to possess the capability to produce nuclear weapons?
You don't know why we can't let Iran have nuclear weapons?
